Govt means non economic, delayed decisions. They should only focus on governance. Pvt sector is profit driven that means efficiency and higher service. That simple!

Government sector has no profit motive nor any performance linked incentives as well as highly protectionist labor laws (hire/fore rules) So there is ultimately no real incentive to compete and keep improving. On the flip side, private sector is far more risk averse and thus pure privatization results in highly skewed investments only in highly profitable regions. Its always a tradeoff.
