- Tánaiste Micheál Martin says that the Department of Justice failing to register an asylum seeker as a sex offender, despite being aware of his offence for years, is "not satisfactory at all". He added that the Department must "inquire as to why that happened."

There is no sex offenders list in Ireland . In America you can look up sex offenders and they are identified in your neighborhood and have to announce they are a sex offender.
Ireland literally has no sex offenders register. Even England has a descent sex offenders register system.
