Thanks for sharing this videos! We're going to Corsica and Sardinia September 2025, K1300GT and K1600GT. 18 days of fun! We found your GPX on Calimoto. Thanks again.
Hello, we hope you are doing well wherever you are in the world. Thanks for a fantastic tour of Corsica. You inspire us with your travels. We are out on our annual motorcycle trip in Europe. Right now we are in slightly rainy Swiss Thun and have visit Laterbrunnen and Grindelwald. We weren't as lucky with the weather as you, but it was still a special experience. Greetings Barbro and Christer from Sweden
Hi, we are doing great thanks! Hope you are well too. Yeah the weather this spring is not so good! Glad to hear you are having a good time none the less 😊 Sometimes the weather on the mountains can create a spectacular atmosphere which makes it enjoyable in a different way (we experienced that in Norway! -but in Sweden we had great weather!!) We hope you having a fantastic trip, thanks for watching and it's also really nice to hear from you! All the best Sean and Emily 😎👍
What a nice twisty roads over there 😊🏍Oh wow I smell perfume said Sean🤩 Men should check that part of the street, you might find something interesting🥰Who knows . Have a good one guys and ride safe 🙂
Hi Stephen! Yeah we really recommend it -especially in the off season. it's difficult to say which part of the island we liked the best. Routes are in the description in case you need them 😊
Hi Ruud, yeah these are the type of roads that even though it's late and we are getting tired give us the excitement to keep going! We didn't expect the ride to be this good and the Hotel was the icing on the cake. 😎👍
Another spectacular episode!!! The quality of these videos is amazing -actually thinking of getting UA-cam premium so I can watch them in 4K! 😁 Thanks for sharing guys
Hi Alin, thanks! Corsica was a great way to start the year off. We are looking forwards to editing the UK tour too! Believe it or not out of the 25 days we were on the road it only rained once 😄
Wow, what a great route to drive and what a beautiful way to end in Bonifacio. The view of this harbor is of course also nice. I'm sure you enjoyed it.
Thanks, yeah it turned out to be an incredible ride -calimoto has been great for planning these routes. And yeah riding into Bonifacio in the evening was a great way to finish the day 😎👍
Thanks very much! Really glad to hear you like the channel. Yeah Corsica is a special place indeed, every turn there was a new magnificent vista. Not long to wait for the next instalment. 😊
Do you shoot lots of footage and then edit out later, or you just trying to shoot enough to what you're going to put out and to save on editing time later? Editing can take endless time. Another question - did you have some not so pleasant moments which you didn't put on camera, or edited out, or all was really going as smooth as it's in the film? The helmet beak doesn't help much when the sun is going down towards the evening. Great ride and filming. I didn't think riding in Corsica before, but you inspiring to go there :). Oh, the route in the description (Corte - Bonifacio) is 280 km. How many days did it take? You're having several episodes down that route I think.
Hi, thanks for your comment and we are glad you liked the series. Indeed we do shoot a lot of footage, but only when we think it's worthy of recording or is important to the story. Hence somedays the day is split into 2 or even 3 episodes depending on what we see. Yeah editing does take a while however the more you do it the more efficient it becomes. In truth it's all gone very smoothly and we put out everything that happens in the day. We find it difficult to see how some channels run into so many problems but I guess creating drama and click bait titles are a way of getting more views if that's all that is important to people. The peak does help and works the same as wearing a baseball cap, so you don't need to dip your neck down so much to block out the sun (most peaks are adjustable). Yes that's correct 280 km and about 5 hours of riding which we spilt in to a few episodes (that was a big day but we did do it in one -i think we arrived at about 21:00 which is usual for us to do big days) here is the route (available in the descriptions) : calimoto.com/calimotour/day-7-corsica-over-land-r-q7mbMIVXzQ Thanks for your comment and we are glad you have been enjoying the videos. Hope this answers your questions 😎👍
@@SeanandEmily Indeed thanks for all your answers. We used to do long days too, but the last 2 hours of riding was the hardest. At our age, (60's) I'd split this into 2 days riding . Keep-on traveling. Cheers.
Yeah ideally we would like to spilt these up into more days but unfortunately we didn't have the time as this is not the main trip for this year. The next series should start next week or so as we ride 8500km through England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales =) ......expect big days too =) Thanks for watching!

That sounds great!! 18 days is a super amount of time to explore both the islands! Great that you found the routes, you're very welcome!

Very jealous 🤗
Yeah can’t believe the weather was like this!! No not a year off …we wish 😉 just Corsica was the first early trip this year.
Wow! What a day's riding followed by an incredible view from the hotel!
It was one of those perfect days! The hotel was a bargain and the view from the room was totally unexpected! -another benefit of off season travel =)
Awesome video Sean & Emily, thanks for sharing! 👍👍
Thanks! Glad you liked it 😎👍🏻
As you will see Bonifacio is well worth the long ride down. Enjoy your 2 days exploring this little gem. Highlight of our trip many years ago.
Hi Bill, first impressions of Bonifacio when we rode in were amazing! Such a highlight of the trip. Glad you got to experience it too! 😊
That nightview is always nice. Thank you for sharing. 😊
The city is lit up beautifully, it's also spectacular in the daytime but made for a very grand arrival 😊
