I have electric start with kick-start, I start my bike with the Kick Starter 98% of the time, what components if any, (aside from the obvious; start-motor solenoid, and battery), am I saving wear on?
Those were the main two I would name! My dirt bike only has a electric start so I don’t real have an option when starting my ktm350 sxf. My dad has the trail version, and it’s a 300 2 stroke. It has both the kickstarter and a electric start. I’ve noticed he likes to kick start it first, then he will use the electric start the rest of the day! What kind of dirt bike do you have?

I'm just the opposite of your dad, I will start it in the AM with electric, cause I'm not warmed up myself lol, then the rest of the day I'll kick it, unless I'm in 'trouble' then I'll hit the electric. shrugs... I guess I'll keep kicking it though, cause I may be forced into a kick only bike later this year. Cheers..
@@RadAdventureDude At the right temp mine will start first kick or second, my older bike as long as it's an average day will start first or second kick every time with no choke, but it runs like #### lol.

Yeah great information it’s harder to kickstart your bike what a incovinece when riding in the bush park on a hill right yep ezy

Some are like that, some will NEVER start
on the first kick.
