Right? And I feel like it would've helped the plot from this episode immensely. The idea that Annie isn't alone in fantasizing about the two of them being married would've been a nice full-circle moment to include.

I think this was the moment Jeff went from attraction to getting real feelings... that he would continue to suppress for another year and half (not counting the gas leak year)
So that they could later claim that the Jeff/Annie theme in this episode wasn't meant to be romantic. Liars!!! They suck. This scene alone would've made the whole episode epic.
I have watched it multiple times on tv, Netflix and *cue to pirate music*. But maybe it was released that way initially in the states, and I might have only watched an international version.
I hate how the Netflix version of community cuts out so many scenes. I remember watching this on Hulu and was bummed it wasn’t on Netflix as well as other scenes

@Adam R.L. how was that a joke ?? she literally wanted to kiss britta. also alison brie confirmed in an insta dm to a friend of hers that she was a lesbian (you won’t find it if you look it up), even if you don’t believe that’s legit, alison has said in interviews that she was hoping for a britta and annie kiss while filming one of the seasons (i think it was season 5?? maybe 4)
@Adam R.L. not really ??? the scene really isn’t set up as something that’s comical and even so she still did that ..? besides jokes where the punchline is ‘it’s gay’ is majority of the time reversed for mlm situations not sapphic ones . also cool, nice to know it’s been edited but even so she did say interviews she wanted britta and annie to kiss . idk why we’re discussing this, i know it’s not technically canon that she’s a lesbian ://
@Adam R.L. oh also the canon is not annie and jeff love each other, it’s very clear that they’re not right for each other. it’s a toxic power dynamic, the show even points out itself in its ‘meta-ness’. maybe they do love each other but there’s a reason it doesn’t work out besides ‘needing more time’
so true bestie from 7 years ago !! the dynamic she had with jeff was toxic and he was super unfair to her. they’re so cute as best friends but jeff’s constant stringing her along then wanting her was so wrong of him to do. like how it was unhealthy and toxic how troy kept on putting abed ahead of britta when they were together, not a good pair and better as best friends.
This brings a whole new vibe to their relationship, i wish this scene would‘ve Made it into the Episode.
