Very happy with these headphones. The midrange is what makes these headphones very special. They do demand quality electronics (DAC/Amp setup) to get the best performance from them. Pair them with a Chord TT2, and you will be rewarded with reference quality playback.
The treble is a bit recessed compared to other TOTL cans, BUT, it is very clear and natural sounding.

Great review for a very underrated company. I have the edition 15 (open) and it remains one of my favorites. It has a very nice lower midrange that makes makes vocals come to life. It also has a unique quality in how it conveys higher frequency transients. I hear a quickness in the leading edge and then a floating decay from left to right in many tracks that I don’t quite experience in other headphones. I really like it and think the edition 15 is a great headphone for someone looking for a unique and pleasant interpretation of their music.
Can we have a comparison with sth like the abyss or like the utopia, lcd4?

Why there is no mention of the less than dirt cable of these very very expensive thing. Many of less than $100 have way better cable.
