Rasta just talks and do nothing at all maybe the Marley sons did a rasta university but i dont think. They just talks imencipantion repatriation but nothing, Afrika afrika afrika but never want go back . Maybe rasta is just va business or they just want to go in ethiopia and not every where. I'm rasta but i'm changing tha way i'm back to my afrikan Roots in believing to my afrikan prophets like Simon kimbangu. Peace

Why are you giving more credence to a university verses true rastas who actually LIVE the core of their beliefs? Education means nothing without application and just look at what and how far this culture has been able to spread across the entire world WITHOUT a school. So how you gonna come here and act like they haven't achieved anything?
@@africarib I was born and grown around true Rastas from the hills, and I can tell you that Rastas are loosing the ancient Rasta culture.You are correct education without application is nothing, but if you analyze your own statement you must be educated before there can be application. Having universities At present it is only Babylon educating the people in their corrupt ways and philosophy. If Rastas run their own Universities they would be able to educate the people more right ways.
@@wildflowernetwork366 My definition of education though is not confined to a building. That would almost seem to water down the whole thing to me. Muta says all the time life is the greatest teacher. If some formal educational structure was truly needed for rastafari culture to flourish then I don't know how you explain men like Muta and Prof I who have such great influence. Them living what they teach is what has been the biggest inspiration to people. Plus there's the chance for extra division like there is now with so called formal education. So what we only gonna listen more to a rasta who got their learning in a university vs one who live and learn the ways among elders? Could be a slippery slope to turning in the same things people are trying to fight against.

Too extreme. Way too many sweeping generalizations. With an angry tone of talking at you. Some people by nature are polygamous even in the Western world. And many people are monogamous in "villages". Also, "White power", "black power", whatever happened to One Love? That's the concept that made Jamaica famous in the States and around the world. MUCH prefer Bald Head & Dread. They appear half this guy's age, and twice as wise and more importantly: reasonable.

Agree w/ a lot, most of what the elder say except maybe some overly simplistic comparisons about wearing mask and driving...and polygamy... which is/was traditionally about solving solutions to societal problems in times of war or caring for widowed women & family, for ex. One other thing, Ethiopians ate raw meat to avoid ambush by the italians who'd discover their location in the bush from the smoke while cooking the food. I apprecialove his reasoning on the evolution of Rastafari however.
