When traveling, it is well known that you should think outside the box. And South America has not only beautiful nature, but also culturally so much to offer! And therefore we want to bring you closer to the Argentine Carnival and the passion of the Argentines for it. Only a few hundred kilometers north of Buenos Aires in Gualeguaychú the biggest carnival of the country takes place. More than 300,000 visitors come to Carnaval de País every year. We accompanied one of the 5 participating groups during their preparations and take a look behind the scenes. In the process, we learn what the carnival means to the people and how hard they work for it.
