That’s not a long journey! Simply Porsche at Beaulieu from Yorkshire in a day in my 996 turbo! 245miles there, few hours looking at cars, dinner then 245miles back!!! These cars are great for it.
Not that far! Just driven back from Spa Francorchamps to Lincolnshire in one go in my 120k mile 996 - 7.5 hours. Easy enough on a tank and a half of fuel....33mpg on the very slow motorways (road works..)
I’ve been looking forward to this, thank you Matt. I love your uploads, also of the two of you together, I think you work very well together, but also you do an amazing job solo 😎. Great new project and what a gorgeous specimen. I have recently restored a MK1 Citroen AX GT. I’d love to take it for a spin on the ring one day. I wish you luck with your new project. I’ve also got the A3 8P but the cabriolet so 8P7 I think, I’ve done most of the mods and love it but as always I get bored! Maybe a Porsche next ? Why not 😂
GT3 RS is a rare car, saw one at a Porsche meet up this morning, 01/05/22 I was wondering how much fuel your car uses, my 996 C4S Tip averages 26 mpg, semi auto uses a bit more. I like your channel.
That’s not a long journey my friend, I’ll tell you long. In my 1997 Porsche 993, we both did 2,500 miles from west London to south of France near St Raphael and back. 2 years before that we both drove to south of Spain Malaga and back. All at high speed. She’s resting at the minute ever ready to hit Europe(Note: I did not take a single Primary route, it as all country or secondary roads for maximum pleasure), now you want to try that, both for Spain and France. Now that’s miles of smiles 👊🏿😁

Well done!!! Great trip.
I just love that blue color.
Does seem to be a marmite colour for people! Changes in different lights.

Enjoyed the video - what is the phone mount you are using for the 996 and where did you get it please?

Great Vid Mati! Glad your trip was a success in the Porsche 👍👍👍
You and me both! thanks for watching
I've only ever driven a 997.1 carrera 4s. Best thing about it was the sound
You cant beat the noise, the older the Porsche the better it sounds too!
..great journey 👍...greetings from western Germany 👋

Is there no parking in the museum? I'm planning to drive down in 2 days.
Yes there is parking there, we were just staying within walking distance! 👍🏼
@@matimcfetridge nice one!
Which 996?
Being old I'm lucky if I do 1000 miles in 4 months. I'm only insured for 3000 miles a year :-)
1000 miles is always better than no miles though! many of these cars do less than 1000 a year!
Man whatever English he's speaking is disgusting lol
How rude 😂
