I really like the photo with the cat and the man waking in the background. Awesome work as always!

I got the 35mm f/1.4 7artisan for the a7iv and it's a lovely lens. Just a lot of fun to use. Manual lenses definitely look sexier on a Fuji body though 😂

This might sound ridiculous but, the lens that got me to better shoot with 35mm was the 24mm. Jumping back to 35 after shooting 24 for while, makes 35 feel like 50. If that makes sense. Although, now the 85mm feels too close for me, so I have to fix that.
This is all with the XF 16f2.8, 23f2, and 50f2. Fully recommend all of them if you're having fun with Fujifilm. I don't think there's much point in paying more for fast apertures if you have full-frame lenses.✌️

Makes sense, I do best with 50, but after forcing to shoot with 24 for a while 50 feels kind of narrow.

@@Babumoshaaai My favourite combo is now the 24 + 35 because I did the same. However the Ricoh GRIII falls cleanly between them and I'm pretty happy with it too. Pat Kay did a couple videos on the 24 + 85 combo, which to me sounds crazy. I wish I could be so agile. 😂

If you want to shoot at a faster pace you can use the scale and zone focus, it's really fun with this lenses, i got the ttartisans 25mm f2 very good and sharp lens for only $55

glad to see lotsa ttartisans 23mm video recently. back then when i bought and use this lens, alot of fuji user frown upon this lens claiming this lens is bad and so-on.
now theres so many positive review of this lens and i am so happy about it.

You could make it even more film-like. Limit yourself to 24 or 36 exposures, set the iso to a set value, don't use auto-shutter speed, turn the rear screen off, turn off the image preview/exposure preview! I've done this a few times with my X-E2 and it's as film-like as I can get without using one of my Pentax MX's!

This lens has the general focus at 3.5m and you will not have to focus constantly, if it is not something that is very close.

Great shots as always. Recently got my hands on a ricoh gr iiix and it's been alot of learning new composition techniques with a shorter focal length✌🏿

    Nice video!
I have it attached to a Fuji XPro-1 and definitely gives a natural vintage look to the images.
Great to set at f8 and 2m and just shoot without focusing.

Vintage lenses can make Fuji more vintage than ttartisan :)

My favourite 3rd party lens is 7artisans 35mm1.2 mark2. Beats all my Leica, Konica & Olympus vintage lenses while still feeling vintage

Haha, i also have similar setup, but with the XF 23mm F2 and K&F 1/8 diffusion filter. Bad eyesight (minus 3 with cylinder) made me hard to focus manually. 😅

You can really make it a film like experience by not downloading your files for 2 weeks.

Hello. Nice video. Any vignetting with the step-up filter? Is it 43mm-52mm? The photos suggest that there's no vignetting, but just want to be sure. Thank you.
