Breaking News from Channel 9
A historic steam engine UP Big Boy 4014 Collided with a 1;30 Amtrak Southwest Chief, sadly 17 and 10 people were hurt and injured in the scene of the crash, 21 were taken to the hospital, Police and EMS will be investigating what caused the accident, the Amtrak P42 suffered minor damage and the Big Boy suffered minor damage to the cowcatcher and tender, Big Boy is taken to the works for minor damages. back to you Gustavtime
After spending 12 years in the shop, Bigboy #4014 is on his 4th run. Down the tracks a few miles is AmTrak #156, hauling passengers back home. As Bigboy #4014 rolls along, the engineer sees a limited clear signal, playing it safe, he decides to stop Bigboy #4014. as the AmTrak #156 approaches, the switch that would have let AmTrak #156 run straight trough malfunctions, lining the AmTrak #156 straight into Bigboy #4014's boiler, killing both engineers. The carnage of twisted metal is beyond belief, many cars are derailed, and many people are injured. Those that survived the crash will remember it for the rest of their lives.
And that my friends, is why I don't trust modern electric junctions.

7:55 KABOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM 💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱
Amtrak fully at fault for running the red
Amtrak more like Amcrash
VA Railfan How could that driver have known the switch was on the wrong setting?
@@Stupidhead-et1je he ran a stop signal that's why
He right... the switch suddenly had a fault and the Amtrak was already past the next signal, not enough tome to warn.
@@railfangraham4182 he didn't know the signal was red...
A boiler explosion would have added immense entertainment value.
Amtrak unit: OOOOOOOOOOOH SHIT!
Both: MMM BOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMM
Amtrak unit: Sorry I crashed into you.
Big Boy: That’s alright, lil’ harm done.
UP Diesel: Well, I guess a rescue crew will arrive shortly.
Its funny how big boy at the last min trys to back up fast
Did it even do that?
@@florjanbrudar692 ya cuz u can see that the big boy steam came out like it was bout to move
Holy smokes!!!! That......was......DEAD-ON amazing!!!!!!!!!! #gustavtimedoesitagain
Would there be any chance of the boiler exploding in a situation like this?
Not sure
Ye there is a chance
What a fatal Crash!
My LEGO big boy can’t move 😳😔☹️
i feel like the big boy would fall on to its side and go about 25 feet away, and the amtrak train would be scattered all over the place and the amtrak units would be torn to big chunks of mental and machinery , same with (some) of the union pacific coaches. still great video!
If this were to actually happen big boy would probably only have dents in the plow and the Amtrak engine would have been mangled into pieces.
No way my favorite big boy 😢😢😢😢😢
God I love that angle at 1:27 👍👍👍👍
Second! Hi! Im here. Great vid
Edit: what’s the death toll and injury toll?
Trains cars ROBLOX Fan 22 why does it matter the crash was fictitious
Just for fun
Big Boy for the win!
Hey. The Big Boy does not the accident for this time.
Let's See, Lightweight Amtrak Against 600 Tons of Solid Big Boy. The Amtraker would be in Pieces and the Big Boy Wouldn't Even Budge!
Let’s hope this isn’t an omen…
Harris County Railfan.... I seriously doubt that will ever happen, because no one will be seeing the 4014 run again, anytime soon.... possibly Never, other than in emergency military freight service.
@2Stroke Diesel Power it was restored
@@Union4014.... Thanks for your reply, but I'm well aware of its restoration... I was there. You, misread or did not understand what I said, apparently.... read it again and take time to understand it.
I once joked about accidentally setting my house on fire as a result of trying to kill a mouse that was proving difficult to eliminate only to have t sit on the curb while the fire department rolled up.
Sometime later, an attempt to kill it resulted in a small fire, the mouse escaped. Fortunately, no critical damage was done to my home.
Another time, I jokingly said "zap, zap" on my lunch break, (we were remodeling a house) well about an hour later, I get bit with 120VAC!
All, that to say, we ought to be careful about what we "put out there".
Nice video. Anyone else notice that the "4014's" builders number plate below the headlamp says "4024" ? : ) Was there a missed restricted approach signal for the crossover to the diverging route, or was I seeing things? Will have to watch it again. Also, What was the "4014" doing on BNSF's mainline up on the high-line route in Montana, in the first place??....and why was a UP supervisor pickup truck doing there, instead of BNSF?..... details, Details!! lol .... and speaking of paying attention to the details.... they sure got the "details" correct with that "babe" standing about 25ft in front of that pickup truck.... the one with the tight fitting jeans and bare mid-section!! lol ; )
Hey i have a question can you make a heritage duo in there like Ns 1069 and up 1982
Terrible simulation! Good thing it's just virtual!!!
This would be a disaster if it were real, it would haunt me for life.
In the video it still is
Glad it's just a movie. I remember that Chatsworth wreck. Let's hope nothing like this actually happens.
At 5.37 you can see the lights, the bottom one has 4 lights, it doesn't exist and the rest are confusing. Approach with caution and stops?..........I guess we live in a different warp zone.
Breaking news big boy 4014 with a SD70ACE with 14 cars was making its way from Portland to Tampa Bay hit a Amtrak P42 and p40 with 6 cars from Fort Worths to Seattle 4014 had 107 people 23 died 4 crew members 1 died and the driver and the brakeman died the Amtrak had 82 people with 2 crew members only 12 died Some how the driver and brakeman lived the accident happen near Las Angels at 1:02 PM no one knows who did we have Tod down there Tod how does it look
Tod:well there's body's on the ground lets see if the Driver of the Amtrak know's so driver do u know who did it
driver:well i heard that they where fixing the tracks and one of them switch it and left it on purpose one notice it and told his boss and his boss said leave it Tod: well theres our concluson anyways back to you Frank
Amtrak has a long history of these kind of things they should take a hell of a lot better safety than what they do
Punctuation for christ's sake
