Thanks.
Good lord, I miss Gene Hackman. Everything he did was riveting and watchable. I can think of a single actor who is as great Hackman in today’s younger generation.
You say that like he died years ago.
He's still alive.
He's in his early 90s, but he's not dead yet.
@@joecombs7468 he stopped acting in the 90’s after working with that pretentious director Paul Anderson. I made SS him as an actor, not as a person.
@@kamillgran9408 he could still take an acting job. Other actors, some even older, have taken a role while in retirement.
@@joecombs7468 I hope so
@@kamillgran9408 me too
Gene Hackman is one of the most talented and well rounded actors of our time. I miss seeing him on the big screen. Maybe he'll return to acting but he's probably enjoying his retirement more.
Class on its own. Love that he lives long and writes & paints
I thought Gene may have passed. He's the same age as Clint Eastwood. I like Clint but my admiration for Gene's acting from comedy to serious etc is spectacular. AD. I say thanks often because this is a great channel.

Love Gene, one of my favorite actors
Love this gene hackman is magnificent actor
I did not know that Gene was an author. Found this show by accident. he also paints. nice to know his other talents,😀
Gene Hackman is one of my very favorite actors. He's so versatile, electric and magnetic, and I love his combination of toughness and sometimes with such a sensitivity. I'd actually thought that he'd stress his body out with his intensity, so I'm impressed and glad that he had the sense to retire from acting to enjoy his life, wife and family, and other creative activities. My favorite films of his are "I Never Sang For My Father" and "The Poseidon Adventure". ✨
Charlie Rose was a great interviewer. It's a shame his personal issues shortened his career.
Great actor still going strong like Clint Eastwood and Robert Duvall I consider myself very lucky to have been born with these great actors. Hackman is a keen cyclists and loved car racing and flying .
Gene Hackman is one of my favorite actors for his versatility and talent.
A rare man with a huge personality and a sense of humor that’s outstanding. I particularly enjoyed his acting in Wes Anderson’s movies.
When I think of his performances in Anderson’s storytelling, I vision a psychedelic character. That’s what he represents to me: vivid colors!
*This intensely self-effacing and immensely talented man's epitaph should simply be, "Here Lies Gene Hackman: **_The Natural"_** (When you hear the phrase, "They just don't make 'em like THAT anymore!" he's the poster child.)*
I think of “ The French Connection “ and “ Young Frankenstein “.
Always wanted to watch scarecrow
Rest in peace sammy Wilson
Part 2?
I drink diet cherry 🍒 Coke ...grateful there's Coca-Cola 😅
For all the prestigious interviews Charlie Rose did he is annoying to listen to as he cuts people off and asks somewhat mundane questions. But boy - he does not really listen to the answers given.
I love this interview, Award-winning 🏆🏆🏆 actor Gene Hackman is my top favourite actor 👍👍👍. I'm so proud of him. I love every movie from his career, as well as his personal achievements. 💚💛🦘
