It’s not acapella, but he takes a great deal of care in arranging and selecting just the right plugins to get the effect he wants. It’s been out for about 2 weeks and already has almost 600K views.

easy way to learn ... find a black and white photo and a clean paper lightly grid both and then square by square copy the parts of image over. it's really easy and get's you use to it. LOL Music is Hard Art is mostly about learning to be ok with mistakes and finding the life in them

Btw Anthony is 17. As a fellow teenage boy I’m OBSESSED with his head voice and DEPRESSED I CAN’T hit it after puberty ruined any chance at that 😂 I truly hope he can keep his voice stable enough to hit those high notes for the future. Would definitely recommend you react to more of his solo stuff.

My special interest is to Voiceplay reactions, but there have been reactions to other groups and performers I've liked, too. A special thank you for the discussion on drawing pictures and playing instruments. While unexpected, it somehow suits in your style of music video reactions. What you told each other made me understand something that has never made any sense to me, namely the advice of creating a grid and following its lines to draw accurate likeness of the subject. Never worked for me. From what you said I now understand that the advice is given by a person that conceptualises the world visually. I don't. I use narratives and therefore rely on recollections of things, textures and movements. My drawings are based on lines that map out actions, like a secretive grin or a knitting together ones eyebrows in annoyance. Maybe I could draw based on recollections of movements in music, too. There's an opportunity for something new...
Hi Guys! It was fun watching the BTS video on Patreon, showing how Layne filmed the 'heads' with a green screen - they had several other concepts for the video before settling for this one!
VoicePlay always credits their audio mixer in their video info section. It's usually Ed Boyer (who's also the audio mixer for Home Free, BTW). And I agree he's a wizard. As for the drawing vs. music tangent, I think both are considered "right brained." But my guess is: if your natural inclination is toward music, drawing may be less intuitive to you because drawings don't make any sound, so you don't get that specific feedback.
I'm the same way as you guys. My father and both of my brothers are decent artists. I'm only mediocre, and I can not draw people or animals at all. I can draw scenery decently. But my artistic ability manifested in plastic canvas(similar to cross stitch). A friend of mine looks at the patterns that I use to make the items and can't understand it, but I can look at it and already envision what the finished product looks like.
Late to your reaction but since you mentioned Pinocchio, if you look to the window behind Geoff there is a Pinocchio doll sitting on the sill. Great reaction guys, as always. Very entertaining.
