I just love how much Violet looks like Everett. Literally the baby girl version of him, so so cute
I agree. I've also said it several times that Violet and Everett look so much alike. Both are adorable.
I agree ❤
Bennet is quite the chef! 😊
So impressed with Bennett’s baking skills. That bread looks delicious.
It is always fun to see what he comes up with!
Lauren you look Absolutely Beautiful 🥰 Baby Girl loves her Mama and Daddy and Family and Thank you for Sharing Your Hunting Adventure Story ❤
I’m really enjoying this series of hunting. Violet is getting cuter every day, and I love how the boys play with her and protect her.
Hi as a vegetarian I struggled with the hunting aspect, however I realised that this was about providing for ur family as opposed to just doing it for fun, so thank for enlightening me
The bread looks wonderful Bennett 👍
Lovely picture of the children all ready for church. Luna was having a lot to say.😊
Praying Mark gets his Moose, what a beautiful day in Alaska!
Thanks for sharing info on moose hunting and your family's background. The scenery was gorgeous!
It is all about attitude! You have a great one.
Seeing Violet and her big smile makes my day 💜 thank you for sharing your family with us.
Wonderful video from a wonderful family hope Mark is successful 👍🏻👍🏻😊🏴
Violet knows where the camera is and loves to smile at all her fans! My dad hunted in his early years. It’s what you did to provide during the depression and war years. Nothing wrong with understanding firearms and their safety
Good morning Lauren and family and beautiful Violet and Luna and thank you for sharing your beautiful day
Enjoyed spending time with y’all in Alaska. Thank you for sharing the moose hunting information. I find it fascinating. ❤

Bennett is such a great baker! Very impressed
Learning about hunting while Fall 🍂 sight seeing was an excellent idea 👌🏻Looking forward to the next video!
You are so blessed to be able to be there for your family. I love seeing the boys with Violet❤
Violet is such a little love! What a blessing for your beautiful family ❤️ I liked how you did the Q/A on the video with the outdoor footage and you narrating!
Very interesting video!! Your boys are so kind and sweet little Violet melts my heart she is so beautiful !
It's so beautiful in Alaska ❤❤
Delightful and informative!
💜Another great video to enjoy. Beautiful scenery. Thank you, Lauren. Hugs! Take care. 💜
I didn't grow up in a hunting family so pretty much all the information you shared was new to me! I never thought about how difficult it would be to harvest all the moose meat and then process it. That's a big job! 👍
Bennett is going to be a wonderful husband some day! He's quite the baker and he's so good with his baby sister. ❤
This was such a fun video....I would have never guessed you didn't grow up outdoorsy. I just love how the boys love Violet so much. Alaska has some beautiful fall colors.
Really interesting learning about hunting in Alaska.
I just love when you share your life thank you
Beautiful scenery!
I didn't know this was going to be a series. I love it!
You have the best family!❤
beautiful family, thank goodness you can feed your family.
Violet and Everett are so identical looking. Both are so cute. You should be proud.
thank you very much for the videos very pretty, Alaska is a great state but too cold for me😢, saludos desde Mexico🙋🏻♂️
What a blessing to have meat in the freezer. A lot of work but enjoyed all the more for the effort.
I found this all very interesting , Violet is so cute , growing up fast , she looks like Western , what a lovely family photo 😊
Umm, do you mean Weston? (auto correct must have changed it to "Western" lol)
I think she and Everett look so much alike.
Loved this video. I love seeing your relationship with your husband begin to grow as you figured out marriage. I just love your family. So wholesome and sweet. When baking the bread in the Dutch oven. Bake with lid on first so that the bread will bake all the way through. I also pre heat Dutch oven before adding dough. The recipe I follow is 450 preheat Dutch oven with lid on for 20 minutes. Put in bread with lid. Bake for 35 minutes then remove lid and finish baking so it will brown for about 10-15 minutes. Make sure he uses pot holders.
Thx for the chat, you are a pro! I really enjoy your podcasts!
Oh thank you!
love your channel always puts a smile on my face , i would love the recipie for crusty bread
We need to test the recipe again, something was off. We will share if it turns out better next time.
Great vlog! You have plenty to occupy your time as well as do fun things! Luna is definitely your cat! She has a voice! Violet loves to see herself in the camera! Sweet!!🍁🍁🍁
Great video but then all your videos are amazing, thank you!!!
Beautiful looking bread Bennett! Hope Mark gets a moose! Violet looks so much like Everett!

You’re welcome 😊
Love watching your family days. The hunting information really interesting.
Praying for a safe and successful hunt. Bennet did a great job on the bread. Violet is so cute. Blessings to all
You are a lovely mom
Love your stories about living off the land ...very interesting. Im from Canada and a city girl but my whole family are from the North . I do have a country heart i was taught how to fish and hunt and how to work the farm. I have eaten many things Moose, bear, rabbit, deer, pigtails, squirrel and the list goes on. Lol I always say you shouldn't judge a book by there over as city girls can be more interesting that you think. I think you're amazing and love all your stories you are an interesting lady. Oh by the way im 62 years old and started around when you did but still live in the city. ❤❤ 🇨🇦 Blessings from😘 Canada
So happy to see a video from my favorite family this morning. A welcome break from constantly monitoring the massive hurricane which is closing in on my state. I live in SE Fla so we don't appear to be in great danger but I am praying hard for our Gulf Coast where they haven't recovered from Helene. I hope your next video is processing a moose! Your kids are the beautiful, and Bennett is ready for Culinary school. Pets for Luna❤
I am praying for you all too. Please be safe.❤ from Pennsylvania.
All of your children are so cute and well behaved but there is just something about a new baby, sweet Violet, what a doll!!
Alaska looks absolutely beautiful. The bread looked delicious I would have to cut it when it was hot with loads of butter that is just me though 😂
I was raised in a hunting and fishing family until my dad passed away when I was 13. Only for us it was deer, elk, pheasant, duck, turkey, trout and bass. My dad made sure we all were involved and as we got older, we had to take hunters safety classes. When my mom remarried, my step father had no interest in hunting and fishing. Fortunately my grandparents continued to take us fishing and my brother hunting. My husband isn’t in to hunting or fishing, but we had two boats and I could fish. At 64, I still cherish those memories of going out with my dad.
Your family has a great outlook on hunting…you hunt for food, not for sport, and you practice catch and release when you have harvested what you need while fishing for food. I could never imagine Mark or your boys posing with a lion killed on a safari or an eagle from the beach at your family cabin.
What a beautiful family ❤️
You are so kind
Hi Lauren, Luna, Alaska boys and little miss Violet! What a wonderful video. Very interesting about the moose regulation and harvesting etc. what a beautiful scenery. Alaska is so pretty. Loving the videos this week. Thank you for sharing! 😊hope Mark was able to get a 🫎! Looking forward to your next video!
😂 it's so comical that while your talking moving your hands poor Luna wanted you to pet her on the head she was all over trying to get to your hands 😅😅😅

Thanks for sharing your perspective on hunting. It was enlightening and inspiring to hear your transition into the hunting mindset.
Great video. Lots of good information. Fall colors are beautiful. Your family is growing fast.
The fall leaves and scenery is beautiful!! Hunting is so over my head.Sounds very hard !! Violet likes being outside, true hunting and fishing little girl !! She needs a hat , it’s getting cooler. The boys sure do love their little sister, Bennett sure is becoming quite the chef and baker!! His bread looked wonderful !! Love your sweet family !! 💙🩷💙💙💙💙🩷
Oh my, Violet loves the camera!! Hope Mark and his friends have a successful hunt.
It’s a joy to be part of your life, thanks for sharing.
That bread looks delicious. Keep baking sun.
I really hope Mark has a successful hunting trip. 😊
Have you ever seen bear in your yard? I sometimes think of that when the kids are playing outside. Bear, moose, wolves?...so many scary critters in your neck of the woods!
I'm a real city girl and you've shared so many things that are so interesting and cool !! And it's always nice to learn about people that live a life that is different from yours. That is also a cool way to get educated on several subjects. Thanks for sharing !! ❤
Great video presentation, looking at the beautiful scenery while driving and enjoying your narrative of Alaska hunting season. Luna was so restless during your first few minutes talking, she just wanted to curl up with her mum and sleep 😅. Violet is growing so fast now, she’ll be crawling around before Christmas and into everything 😅
This vlog is very informative about everything moose hunting thank you for the great info, and also Bennet needs his own cooking show or Colaboration show with Mom!❤️😊
Beautiful family and beautiful day in Alaska ❤
Good morning from Ontario. Alaska looks so beautiful in the Fall. We always visited in the Summer as my husband was an avid fisherman who just loved fishing silver salmon. You are a great mom to hold the fort while Mark is hunting. Love you. from Claudette.
bennett is quite the baker! the bread looks amazing
Oh Lauren what a sweet photo of your children in their church clothes. They seem so loving to one another. My dad was a rabbit, duck, and deer hunter in Southeast Louisiana. I remember opening the ice chest and petting those poor beautiful dead animals. I never could bring myself to eat them. My mom would help him process and cook them. A few of my siblings would eat the wild game but not me. Now the seafood he would harvest I loved, except the oysters. Never could acquire a taste for them. My mom always said hunting and fishing is not cheap. I think she kinda resented him leaving her alone as well with the kids but she would make that time fun for us like you did with your kids. Hope he is successful and you can fill your freezer to feed the family. Many blessings. 🍂
Loren I'm glad you're telling us about Alaska hunting rules about how you feel and I hope Mark can get a successful hunting
Excellent video Lauren. The explanations along with the gorgeous day-trippin scenery makes this vid worth watching twice🥰
I actually HAD to watch twice coz my mind kept wandering to the scenery and I lost what you were saying🤣 Happy day for me🌻🐝🌈
Lauren, I enjoyed the post a lot and your talk on moose hunting. We have hunted a lot, been married 48 years, deer and elk, we are in Oregon. So, agree that processing your own meat is the only way to go. You do a great job with the kids. Blessings dear lady.
Thank you so much for taking the time to explain this hunting to us who definitely didn't understand .....
I always enjoyed hunting and fishing. When you're out hunting whether its in a treestand, blind or on the ground under a tree. Just being in nature is so peaceful and serene even if you dont bag anything. Its a good time to collect your thoughts
Very interesting video. Thanks for sharing!! Violet is so cute I just want to hug & kiss her!!
Awesome video thanks for sharing..
Beautiful scenery and whole day
I visited Anchorage Christmas 2022, it was magical . We are visiting Juneau this Christmas .
So fun!
lovely to see a bit more of Luna for a change
Beautiful children coming from a loving family love from OZ ❤️❤️❤️
I am loving the daily vlogs! Praying hard for Mark to get a moose! Alaska is so beautiful. Thank you for taking us along Lauren! 💜
Always happy to hear you share how you decided to be happy about processing after a hunt. It seems there are often activities that I'm not fully onboard with and I just struggle through. Choosing happy is such a bettet way. Thanks.
My husband never went hunting for anything. In Oklahoma you can hunt dear or rabbit. We buy all our meat at the store most of the prices are fairly cheap we buy beef pork chicken or turkey. Loved seeing the trees when they turn orange and yellow. In Oklahoma our trees turn orange red and yellow. Thanks for telling us about moose hunting. Prayers 🙏 and Love 🤟 From Ginger.
Great information about hunting by the way. It’s good that it’s well regulated, but that people can use the meat .
Great Video! Thank you for explaining to us the process!!!
Beautiful land and the drive you are amazing
I really enjoyed this video!!!! You and your family are amazing ❤ thank you for sharing the hunting and fall scenery 😊
Thanks for the info on hunting. So informative.
Lauren, thank you for sharing the fall colors ❤❤ I live in Arizona and it is still 100 degree days here
You did an excellent job of explaining the in’s and out’s of hunting, processing and consuming wild game!! I’m a farm girl from Northern Alberta and grew up eating wild game. My Dad loved hunting and it really helped feed his family of 9 children. ☺️
I agree that it’s really a bonding family experience, even after all of us were married if Dad got a moose whoever was available would go out and see his kill if it was accessible and help process the meat. And later my parents would go out and see the grandchildren’s animals and help them out. After my Dad passed away the Grandsons would call Grandma and tell her about their hunt and if possible go by her place to show her their kill. ❤
