Change Islamic versions like Issa, Mussa, Yusaf etc etc to their original names like Yeshu, Mosha, Yoseph etc. in the Hindi translations of the Bible or the coming generations of Hindi Catholics will call upon Islamic names rather than Christian names like their Brethren in south India. First de-islamize Hindi Catholic terminology and then "Indianise" . Protestant Christians in the Hindi Belt don't use Issa.but why Catholic use this imaginary character called Issa ( who neither died on the cross or re-resurrected) for Yeshu?

What is an idol ?? Nobody has seen God. So when people in the ancient religions made images of God whom they have not seen , what guarantee that it actually is the image of God? That is why the image creation of God ( idols) are forbidden in the OT. But with the coming of Jesus, people had seen God, they know the image of God though the image as such is not God. There is a great difference in venerating images in Catholicism and ancient religions. The pictures/statues of saints which catholic church venerate are not the imaginary images of the invisible God (Idols), what these are humans lived on this earth whose images people are well aware of.

@@bibekacharya7060 Christ comes to unite Jews with Gentiles. The heavy injections against idol worship is for Jews. There is no need for Christians to imitate Judaism. This was decided in the first Jerusalem Synod once and for all. For Christians the Grace of God is more important than adhering to strict rules & regulations. Jesus,Mary & other saints are all lived in this world. They are not some unknown , invisible persons There is nothing wrong if Christians make their image. Catholicism allows the retaining of pre-Christian religious traditions for Non-Jewish Christians in the cultural sphere and that is exactly what is decided in the First Jerusalem Synod.
