Tectone you can run Kafka too. Ruan Mei boost EVERY damage as well as reducing elements resistance which increases DoT. So yeah you can literally run a full team of DoT now.

@@brentlee6616 You still need all resistance down or the DoT damage will be like 5k... I'm not joking about this too. Resistance isn't just flat damage cut. It's percentage. If your damage is 100k? If they have resistance it will be just 30k-70k. This is huge! So yeah Ruan Mei is still amazing even more for Kafka. The Kafka team needs additional DoT characters and all resistance down helps a lot.

It's crazy how much these guides missed that Ruan Mei gets 20% BE from her major trace. So you only need 160 BE, because as soon as you enter battle, she gets 20% by default.

I have DHIL, jingliu and jing yuan and all of the support characters (including preservation, harmony and abundance, except huohuo) XDD I won’t blade too along with ruan mei in 100 pulls winning both 50/50 😌 this literally never happened to me

So I looked that up and he's 100% right. Unbroken enemies multiply damage taken by .9 and when they are broken it goes to flat 1, so full damage. Basically unbroken enemies take 10% less damage. Had never heard of that before, don't remember it in tutorials either. Good to know.

Ruan Mei allows 2 DPS in a team because her buffs are all insanely good but not all DPS are good for duo comps like for example Jing Liu and DHIL which prefer to be hyper carries to perform at max output. DPS in Duo comps are Kafka and another DoT (Blackswan in 2.0), Topaz and another Follow up dps character (Clara, Jing Yuan, Dr. Ratio, etc..), Break effect teams as well like Xueyi and SW.

I remember Tectone wondering about Nameless honor. If you do the week's missions, you'll overcap the weekly 8000 exp limit. The trailblaze power can be claimed every 100 power spent up to 1400 equaling 4,900 exp add that to the other weekly missions and it's 9,100 exp available per week

I am not surprised but there is a lot of theorycrafters that forget one little thing, but a very very important thing about Ruan Mei : her Skill and Ultimate lost a turn each time she gets one. Therefore, you can play her with 120spd with the Vonwacq Rope/Planar set, making her go first at the start of the battle and then gets her turn last. This option is highly efficient if you pair her with Huo Huo.
4pc thief was already good on Silver Wolf and Sampo, but it was definitely a very niche set. Most other characters that would benefit strongly from break effect still prioritized other stats that other sets would provide, so even in cases where it was good, it wasn't the best.

Ratio+kafka is good since they both will proc ally B atk if ratio and kafka have max charges for follow up. Ratio will follow ally, which is followed by kafka, which procs ratio again.
i rewatched 2 times and i think i miss it both times if brax said that RM skill increases break efficiency which in fact increases the amount of toughness damage and xueyi's ult deals more dmg up to certain % depending on how much toughness was reduced. It gives xueyi humongous boost if i get it right and thats the only way of increasing break efficiency outside of sim universe unless i missed something
i heard she's also not good for Xueyi because she delays their toughness recovery which reduces Xueyi's damage in return. Idk if it makes a big difference though

Another point is sim universe, yes she could get ult faster than enemy would recover but at the same time she will be inhumanely busted obliteration unit of your run and enemy living long enough wont be an issue either. While it is true she is absurdly heavily made around break damage i strongly doubt this enemy would still be alive or broken when xueyi gets another ult

i don't really know which was right or wrong, but what i know from watching all these youtube guide on HSR was when you break enemy, the enemy will take 10% more damage in a broken state. while brax said that when toughness not broken they only take 90% damage. minute detail may be different but i think it all the same.

her ultimate is meant to be used on boss and elite when their bar breaks after during break animation so u force enemy lose 2 turns full instead just 1 which pretty much skips their battle phase

well yeah sadly without Memory of the past or Meshing cogs she will not have enough energy for a 3 turn rotation. To show what i mean, after the usage of her Ultimate and 3 turns she will acumulate following enegry: 5(ultimate) + 30(skill) + 2x20(Attack) + 3x5(Traces) = 90 with a Maximum energy of 130 she is missing 40 energy, with is around 45% while an energy Rope and Penacony or Vonwaq give her almost 25% more energy, means we are missing 20% energy regeneration for her to get to the maximum energy for a 3 turn rotation. to put that more in perspective with a energy rope on ornament set on her after 3 turns Ruan Mei will have around 112 energy, meaning we are missing 18 energy for her. that is why you need a high superimposition Memory of the past or meshing cogs light cone to get to a 3 turn rotation.
S4 MotP gives you 129.37 energy (its irritating cuz her ult is 130 energy) in 3 turns with full er, provided she has not takin a hit or landed a finishing blow. So you need S5 MotP if ruan mei is not raking hits to consistently get a 3 turn ult. I feel bronya will still be the bread and butter for single dps hypercarry, yes ruan mei can tag along with bronya. Apart from that, in dot or follow up char comps and double dps comps, ruan mei will be the best
The difference between reddit and youtube videos being spilt on her prob has to do with the type of players each side probably is , with reddit being a mix of committed players and more newer ones that are starting to get more invested hence they start posting with the way reddit works the top opinions and replies usually come more average or regular people for lack of a better term that both dont have time to fully farm crazy relics and also usually dont commit that much money overall , just getting the limited 5 star is ok for them no eds or special light cones, this is in stark contrast to UA-cam videos where its ushally people who play and review thia game for a living so they both can put crazy hours into farming the best of the best relics and purchase as much as possible for each character so they can get a full picture of fhe unit for there video This contrast would no doubt lead to varying conclusion for each side at least some of the time
Wish i did the story quest before pulling her. All my homies hate ruan mei. I thought i won my 50/50 when i got her, but i actually lost by getting her. If you know you know.
Well the funny thing is i have this not fully built RM with trash relics and level 6 traces with no unlock ascension traces sitting in 130% BE with level 30 MOTP. I was able to clear MoC 12 3 stars in 21 cycles. For Hypercarry Comps she will just literally the brand new Def shredder replacement for Pela and SW. I could see SW being thrown out outside mono quantum and Dr Ratio comp.
I didnt really want to pull for her but if you get her break effect to 180% its free 68% ATK increase for the team. But Bronya on a Hypercarry is still GOATed so just put them together. I play sim universe on the train from home to school, takes me 30 ish minutes between stops.
When Tectone likes the Meta character especially HoT character "Its insane" "so f-cking cool" If he dont like the character "I dont like/play Meta characters" "Destroys the gameplay/makes the game easy"
p.s jingliu use 4 skp to activate transcend, and with ult u get 3 skill points back. She uses 0 skill points when using her attacks during trancend. Correct me if am wrong ty
I’ve seen some saying that hanabi (sparkle) would power creep Ruan mei but from what I’ve heard you say you are already planning on getting hanabi as well. If it’s not because of hanabi then I dunno what they are smoking cause Ruan mei looks broken and even more so with eidolons

Sparkle boosts characters who are very SP hungry like Seele and DHIL. She won't be powercreeping Ruan Mei in anywhere except hypercarry teams where she'll either replace Bronya or be paired with her.
I just started playing and have 14k stellar jade so enough for 90 pulls. I want her but I worry because I feel I need a DPS because right now I only have Phys Traveler who seems to do the most damage with the relics I managed to get and Dan Heng. Besides them I also have Quingquin or whatever her name is with the fish tiles. Who is ok but mostly I just use for breaks. My current Roster is as follows: Phys/Fire Trailblazer, Dan Heng,, March, Asta, Herta, Natasha, Serval, Bailu, Lynx, and Quingque.
I didn't get a single harmony 4star lc till today so I had to get her lc. And yes I have a s5 craftable lc but sparkle is using that and rm definitely has no use for that.
funny rhing is that ppl say she wont work with dot bc she delay enemy but not like bswan dmg and kafka dmg 90% depends on detonation with increased multiplayers XD

I will say after using Ruan Mei with S1 Memories (as that is all I have), she does NOT loop with just the S1 and sometimes doesn't even come close. Guess I'll be a 2 S5 Meshing Cogs user~~~
How does it take 2 hours to clear sim uni? I just did a run to get break balls 4 ruan mei & i finished it in 10 mins, i used dot comp with kafka, tingyun, shampoo & hua hua it was really fast. If i farm a diff world with jingliu its even faster mobs just get gone zero cycle every time except boss.
nah she is pretty goed with a kafka team bcs like she is not a single target buffer but like a full team buffer so you can use like a whole team of like three dps and and then her (iwouldn't suggest that you should use a healer to) but yeah you basicly do have 2 (sub)dps' in a kafka team
I swear I got the luckiest account ever, pittied Ruan Mei and got Xueyi in the same pull, so far nothing that lucky since I had pitty, then I went and did 7 single pulls on Ruan's lightcone and got it xD my pitty on the lightcone was at like 15, again no money spend I swear each time I get a 5 star I got their lightcone just by doing 20 single pulls tops with pitty not even close to 75.
also for those wondering they kinda fixed the su grinding issue since both gold and gears and swarm disaster give points for clearing them now

The difference between reddit and youtube videos being spilt on her prob has to do with the type of players each side probably is , with reddit being a mix of committed players and more newer ones that are starting to get more invested hence they start posting with the way reddit works the top opinions and replies usually come more average or regular people for lack of a better term that both dont have time to fully farm crazy relics and also usually dont commit that much money overall , just getting the limited 5 star is ok for them no eds or special light cones, this is in stark contrast to UA-cam videos where its ushally people who play and review thia game for a living so they both can put crazy hours into farming the best of the best relics and purchase as much as possible for each character so they can get a full picture of fhe unit for there video
This contrast would no doubt lead to varying conclusion for each side at least some of the time

Wish i did the story quest before pulling her. All my homies hate ruan mei. I thought i won my 50/50 when i got her, but i actually lost by getting her. If you know you know.
Well the funny thing is i have this not fully built RM with trash relics and level 6 traces with no unlock ascension traces sitting in 130% BE with level 30 MOTP. I was able to clear MoC 12 3 stars in 21 cycles. For Hypercarry Comps she will just literally the brand new Def shredder replacement for Pela and SW. I could see SW being thrown out outside mono quantum and Dr Ratio comp.

I think if your running the jinliu blade team lynx or fu xuan is the go too support. The hp buff makes it a hyper carry comp basically.
I didnt really want to pull for her but if you get her break effect to 180% its free 68% ATK increase for the team. But Bronya on a Hypercarry is still GOATed so just put them together. I play sim universe on the train from home to school, takes me 30 ish minutes between stops.

I’d say Xueyi is more of a sub dps. Like the guide said most of her dmg comes from her breaking so another dps would help
if u have "Memory of past"S5 she can get her own ER refund full combined with her own Passive that give 5ER.
p.s jingliu use 4 skp to activate transcend, and with ult u get 3 skill points back. She uses 0 skill points when using her attacks during trancend. Correct me if am wrong ty

I’ve seen some saying that hanabi (sparkle) would power creep Ruan mei but from what I’ve heard you say you are already planning on getting hanabi as well. If it’s not because of hanabi then I dunno what they are smoking cause Ruan mei looks broken and even more so with eidolons
Idk, Sparkle looks like a SP generator with some buffs
Think RM has larger buffs and the break interactions aren't comparable

@@gamingwkyo3159Sparkle is good for mono quantum and SP negative teams. I saw a leak of her gameplay and she adds 2 extra SP with her talent. QQ and DanHeng IL might benefit from her.
Sparkle boosts characters who are very SP hungry like Seele and DHIL. She won't be powercreeping Ruan Mei in anywhere except hypercarry teams where she'll either replace Bronya or be paired with her.
Between serval and ruan mei im starting to get a band toghether. I guess kafka technically plays an invisible violin.
I just started playing and have 14k stellar jade so enough for 90 pulls. I want her but I worry because I feel I need a DPS because right now I only have Phys Traveler who seems to do the most damage with the relics I managed to get and Dan Heng.
Besides them I also have Quingquin or whatever her name is with the fish tiles. Who is ok but mostly I just use for breaks.
My current Roster is as follows: Phys/Fire Trailblazer, Dan Heng,, March, Asta, Herta, Natasha, Serval, Bailu, Lynx, and Quingque.

I didn't get a single harmony 4star lc till today so I had to get her lc. And yes I have a s5 craftable lc but sparkle is using that and rm definitely has no use for that.
I got Silverwolf in place of Argenti and I'm kind of kicking myself in the butt bc my Clara is e2 and that team looked so fun.

funny rhing is that ppl say she wont work with dot bc she delay enemy but not like bswan dmg and kafka dmg 90% depends on detonation with increased multiplayers XD

How does it take 2 hours to clear sim uni? I just did a run to get break balls 4 ruan mei & i finished it in 10 mins, i used dot comp with kafka, tingyun, shampoo & hua hua it was really fast. If i farm a diff world with jingliu its even faster mobs just get gone zero cycle every time except boss.

nah she is pretty goed with a kafka team bcs like she is not a single target buffer but like a full team buffer so you can use like a whole team of like three dps and and then her (iwouldn't suggest that you should use a healer to) but yeah you basicly do have 2 (sub)dps' in a kafka team

I swear I got the luckiest account ever, pittied Ruan Mei and got Xueyi in the same pull, so far nothing that lucky since I had pitty, then I went and did 7 single pulls on Ruan's lightcone and got it xD my pitty on the lightcone was at like 15, again no money spend I swear each time I get a 5 star I got their lightcone just by doing 20 single pulls tops with pitty not even close to 75.
