We freshly planted potatoes in the soil yesterday! They are doing great and were in zone 7B
What's the temperature at night? Once the frost hits, potato plants do not make it.
@@DaisyCreekFarms the Temps are around 40°
We're also in zone 7,and have had frosts on potato plant in winter, but the potatoes put out more stems and did alright . The frost didn't affect the potato deep in the ground.@@DaisyCreekFarms

I'm going to try the mushroom thing but throwing coffee grounds immediately after brewing which should be sterile already and mix with mycelium.

9:00 I have a Basil plant that grows as a perennial, I cut it back to keep it short - but it is a very vigorous grower and produces a strong flavour.. I am propogating some cuttings to share with friends.. I wish I knew what variety it is, definitely not the common sweet basil but I like that it just grows and grows vigorously

Thank you for the video of great ideas! The one thing I’m concerned about is using plastic. Did you ever consider plastic transfer? What do you think? Also, I’m in the eastern United States. Do you think it’s all worth a try to grow here? And do you use special lights indoor to grow? Thank you ~
Mushrooms break down plastics in a healthy way, and because of ease to sterilize plastics are commonly used for mushrooms. No one grows mushrooms in home in glass. Why would you ask such a question. It’s like you’re passive aggressively attempting to “educate” the poster. The man is recycling re-using and reducing his carbon print. If you don’t want to grow in plastic then don’t.
