Haa...Shameer...what a lovely film of Newlands Corner. You have put a smile on my face with your banter and jovial descriptions! I’ve walked around Newlands so many times and it’s never too late to learn new things - Yew trees, Agatha Christie...and perfect benches to cope in the heat! Glad you got to see the views! Brilliant.
Hey Peter, thanks for the kind compliments. It’s such a wonderful place, I actually wanted to wild camp among the Yews which are my favourite trees. It was a really nice spot, but I had to carry on hiking looping many more miles back to where I started. But I do know the spot, I may bikepack there one day 😊 You live close by don’t you? Thanks for watching!
Looks like a great place to hike, very scenic...a mix of bush/forest and open land...love the ancient yews. Good idea to add the location map at the start and history/facts aid the journey. 👍🏽
Thanks very much for watching. It’s a stunning place. I guess it’s good I underestimated the hike as I managed to combine a lot more natural spaces than otherwise anticipated 😅
Thanks for watching Ian 🙏 yes, I’ve hiked all around there including St Martha’s Hill. Chantry wood and Merrow Downs in that area is also worth a visit. A nice big loop 😊

Nice looking spot mate. 😁 best place those woods, hope the trees got some hugs. 🤗🤗
Thank you 🙏🏼 oh it’s a fantastic area. And yes, plenty of hugs the trees got. I’m sure you saw, they even let me rest on them 😊
