      @AjayBamel  2 роки тому

      Hi Alok,
      Thank you for this suggestion.
      In general students expenses somewhere around 700 - 800 Euros based on one's expense habits. It includes accommodation, groceries, traveling, internet etc. This range holds true if someone has taken shared accommodation. Accommodation part will eat a major chunk of students expenses. I did not include university fee in this as that varies from institution to institution.
      There are also discounts available for students with their student ID.

    • @AjayBamel
      @AjayBamel  2 роки тому

      Hi Ranjan, it is definitely possible to find a job in Germany with your kind of experience and skills.
      To find a job in Germany takes time and lots of efforts in general but the steps are the same as anywhere else. You should use websites like LinkedIn, XING and Indeed to shortlist jobs matching your profile and to get an idea about the job market. If possible, you can also look for someone known, who is already working here and request for an employee referral - that is really effective to get interview calls.

      Hi Azmat, Thanks.
      With your qualification and experience you do have a chance to find a job in Germany. Getting a salary to reach Bluecard slab should be possible, in my opinion. There is only one way to find this out, by putting yourself out in the German job market.
      You should start with websites like LinkedIn, XING and Indeed to explore job opportunities. You can also aim companies directly which match your job profile. It might take time though because finding a job in Germany is a challenging task in general. Best wishes!

    Hi Ajay, nice video and I really liked it. Although I have a doubt, I know German at A1 level, I learnt it during my college days, 8-9 years ago, since such a long time has passed, I think I can only manage to read, write and speak basic German. Is that sufficient to get a job in berlin?

    • @AjayBamel
      @AjayBamel  2 роки тому +1

      Hi Pankaj, if you ask for my honest opinion. A1 level is almost irrelevant in Germany, especially for job. For that matter if someone's job includes German then even B1 Level is not sufficient. One should have at least B2 to C1 Level language skills.
      But what you can still do is search for an English speaking job and work on your German language skills simultaneously. Berlin as a city has a diverse culture and many companies work with English as an official language. It would still depend on the job profile though. I hope this helps.

    • @AjayBamel
      @AjayBamel  2 роки тому +3

      Hi Arvind,
      In my opinion, you can still find a job in Germany based on your current experience. Studying in Germany definitely adds more qualification and skills to a resume. It also allows one to integrate in the country. But if you wish you can try and search for jobs here with your current experience. Many people from India are doing so right now.

      @@AjayBamel thanks Ajay bhai, just one more question is that how important is learning german to get a job in Germany.. Is it necessary or will be an edge over other job seekers?

    • @AjayBamel
      @AjayBamel  2 роки тому +3

      @@arvindjangir3412 Based on my personal experience, I would say it is kind of necessary to learn German language here. Without some knowledge of the German language, a person would lose 8 out of 10 job opportunities straight away.
      Those who have secured jobs just based on the English language might have different opinion but for a starter in the job market here knowledge of the German language is really important. Even after securing a job without the German language, things will be challenging in the office because most people speak German only. Which is understandable as German is national language of the country.
      It's like without knowing Hindi language someone is trying to search for a job in North India. That person's life won't be easy. In India we at least conduct job interviews in English. Here many times even the interview part is also in German.

      Hi Pooja,
      Yes this is true. Aur mujhe kayi baar behad frustration hoti hai is baat se.
      Emergency mein koi bhi directly hospital ja sakta hai. Lekin agar routine consultation ya checkup ke liye appointment chahiye to kaafi time lagta hai - kai baar 2-4 weeks.
      Ek option jisme Doctor se jaldi mil sakte hain, wo ye hai ki week mein kuch selective days direct walk-in kar sakte hain aur 2-3 hours wait karne ke baad Doctor se mil sakte hain.
      But compared to India these appointments with long waiting times can be really frustrating at times.

      Hi Sunil, to be honest, I do not have complete information to answer your question in detail. But as the first step you can verify your diploma in Germany using this website: anabin.kmk.org/anabin.html
      This will give you an idea about your diploma and its validity in Germany.
      Educational structure is different in Germany, so I'm not sure if because of your diploma you'll be able to complete bachelor degree in 3 years here instead of 4 years. That generally happens in India. But in Germany a degree is not tied to number of years as far as I know. I hope this information helps you somewhat.

      Hi Ruma,
      Most kids who grow up in Germany can speak really good English although the medium of instruction in public schools is German only. Most students are choosing English as foreign language and learn simultaneously. There are after school programs for kids to learn English. In some cases both parents choose to speak two different languages with kids to help them learn different languages. I have seen kids here speaking 3-5 different languages.
      Thanks for suggesting this topic as a video. I will consider this for the future.

    • @AjayBamel
      @AjayBamel  2 роки тому

      Hi Upamanyu, thanks for your comment. But I don't think I could include that in this video as the focus was on good things.
      About racism, I have heard more stories from east Germany in comparison to west Germany. East Germany is a completely different world compared to west Germany. Since I live in west Germany (Düsseldorf to be precise) I haven't faced much racism here. Except one time, which I'll remember for a long long time.
      But people should talk about it openly if they are facing it frequently somewhere.
