I’m wondering if your Kaweco is not actually skipping and instead it’s just the shading of the ink? I have inks that can look super pale and really dark even in just one word and use definitely due to the shading properties. I would test it with an ink you know well and see what happens!

Sad... I Inked up a fine nib pen with Kitsune Biyori and it's not at all as dark as beautiful as yours. I can hardly read it ):

You know, this happened to me but I don't remember what pen I had tried it with before. Maybe try a not so "wet" nib?
