MT07 First Impressions

Hello World, I had the pleasure of taking out a new Yamaha MT07. I went to a test ride in my area and spent half an hour with it. If you are contemplating a purchase please watch my short review.

As far as the sound is concerned put an Akrapovic Titanium full exhaust with the Db killer pulled out on it. Wow totally different sound! A super aggressive sound that is very pleasing to a power enthusiast ears.

I switched those handlebars out. They are very narrow. Pro tapers make it feel more stable. All preference I guess.

How tall/heavy are you? I'm 6'4 and 250lbs. Which bike would you recommend since I have yet to test ride either. Thanks!

definetly not the mt-07, it will probably be too small for you, the knee angle/tank form will probably be a problem and the narrow handelbar

I'm looking at getting a MT-07 HO or MT-09 for my next bike. I currently ride a 1988 CBR250R MC19 inline 4 cylinder love it especially screaming at 20,000 rpm, just want more power what bike do you recommend for me? I'm 5'10" (178cm)

Yes!!!!! I finally got my dream bike. 2013 zx6r 636. Ive been riding dirt bikes since I was 6. Now im 33 and ready for this machine. Bought in Cali and towed it back to where I live in 4 corners of NM.
Im waiting to get it in to the shop for new tires, new fluids, full inspection and a tune. After that i will get it registered and take it to a huge ass parking lot so I can practice stopping and turning and of coarse break in the tires nice and easy. Learned a easy way from moto jitsu. But yea man Im super excited to ride my bike. Got it for a steal. 5.3k and almost 5k miles on it. Im going to respect my machince and slowly take my time riding her. Its east to go fast but stopping and turning the correct way is important
