Yep the Maginot line was actually impenetrable if the belgians didn't refused the French offer to continue it to the sea on their border the war would have stopped in 1941 after the French and British put their massive colonial ressources to the war

by destructed concrete and still are to this day. The germans dropped everything they had on it but these guys were still popping the germans coming close from both directions with anti tanks guns and sniper rifles.
