Thank you so much for explaining this process! So beneficial in my learning journey! Your card I’d fabulous!!!
Wow they are so inspiring. I want to do that now!!!
Wonderful transfer
Bravo!😊
Awesome! Want to also improve my image transfer skills !
Hi Ceri. So cool the way image transfers work. Great postcard. TFS Hope you have a great day. 🌞
Very interesting... I had not seen this process before... I liked the final finished card.❤
Great postcard. The colours work so well together. Also love the coloured one. tfs xoxo
This is a beautiful card with the blue background. Love it ❤
Thank you Ceri for this one! On my very first attempt on gel printing (yes I know, I was an idiot) I tried lifting a beautiful black and white Vogue picture. I didn’t have enough knowledge. I had seen a ton of videos but no one talked about contrast and what colors to use etc so I put white paint down.. of course it didn’t work. I wish I would have been smart enough not to have used that beautiful picture as my first attempt because bow it is gone. Now I feel I have more knowledge after this video and also feeling more encouraged. Thank you so much for showing all, those that didn’t work out as well because for a newbie as me is is both comforting and good knowledge. I love the card that came out in the end and I hope the second image turns up again so I can see what you make of it. Great video Ceri, thank you so much! ❤👏🏼
Thank you
Image transfer successful and brilliantly explained Ceri❤❤❤ you are so sweet to clarify the use of the magazines for braver off😊 the transfer with the kid looks very Klimt like. The postcard, gorgeous ❤
Brilliant, thanks for the step by step process for image transfer❤
Very cool. Love that you used the plastic canvas !
Very interesting process and technique. Thanks for sharing 😊
Love tour transfer.
Wishing life away -- I'm ready to see what you did with the future card. I know in advance, it's amazing.
Loved #24. (proud I knew where to put the 24l 😋
Fabulous video!! Loved it. I have tried doing images...but if I leave it too long, the paper sticks to the gelplate and rips, maybe it's my paper, will get it right in the end😊
Absolutely gorgeous postcard!!!❤ loved watching your process! I haven’t tried magazine prints yet on my gelli plate but I’m going to now! Thanks for the inspiration ❤
I enjoyed this video!
♥♥♥
It is called plastic canvas here in america. I used to make a LOT of stuff with it!! Love your work!
Yes! Thank you!
I love both those cards, they are so interesting, especially the Mother and child, [I guess that's their relationship?] What's the story there I wonder? Thanks for the information on the image transfer, I haven't tried that yet but heading up to the den now to try that technique. 😊
Maravilloso!!! Increíble tu arte y tarda lo que quieras en tus vídeos ya que tus consejos son extraordinarios. Me quito el sombrero maestro 😊🌼🌻
Oh my goodness gracious me 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺 You’ve outdone yourself with this card. Absolutely fantastic work ❤
Wow, so many tips, tricks & loveliness in one video! Thank you, Ceri! ❤️
Stunningly stunning 🖤🤍💙

They are both so beautiful☺
Great technique...awesome results!! 🩵❤️💛
I love watching your image transfer process. Well done Ceri.
This demonstration was amazing. I’m new to the plate but I love see what is possible👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🤗❤️
I really like the aqua background and then the stamped mark making. Another fantastic postcard!
Absolutely Gorgeous ❤
Thank you! 😊
This is a very cool card Ceri. The image transfer turning out very well. The metallic one was amazing as well. I hope it ends up in one of your pieces of art.
Very nice Ceri! I love how both of them turned out!
I was so happy to see you decide right away that an image wasn’t going to work & you just erased it & moved on! Great hints on what works & what doesn’t & more importantly, why! Thanks for some great ideas!
Thanks so much
Seems like magic! ❤
Wow! That postcard is fantastic. I look forward to seeing your other one done up. 😊
You always come up with fun ways to fulfill the prompts
This was great Ceri. I'm having so much fun with the daily postcards. I need to try an image transfer again . I have failed all attempts but now I'm seeing I use to much paint. Brilliant I shall try again ~Patti
I want to try this! They turned out so nice!
I love the anticipation of seeing how the image turns out when you lift the paper. It's like Christmas. Sometimes you get socks, other times you get a diamond necklace!
Oh, I forgot to ask, is there a certain magazine to get the images from? I've watched a lot of videos on it & they say Voge magazine works best for transferring. I was just wondering what you think about that.
I to use vogue when I have it but any glossy fashion magazine should work I just look for substantial pages.
I haven’t ventured into image transfer. I need to find some different images. What do you put your gel pads on?
Mine are on sheets of plexiglass also known as acrylic sheets, I only have them on there when I’m printing I don’t store them on them.
Enjoyed this video! I especially liked how the woman/child turned out. Perhaps we’ll see how you use that in a future video?
Very cool - I love the effects you can get with image transfers, I just don't think about that when I'm arting - maybe I will now! Anywho - great card, Ceri and I'm sure you'll do something cool with the other one, too...
Hello Cheri, what if you mixed a little retarder in you blue paint. It wouldn't dry so fast.
True
Well Done!
Thank you
Going to hit the thrift stores for magazines. Thanks for the reminder of doing photo transfer.
Another beauty Ceri
Really enjoyed this. I’ve never done that successfully. How long do you leave it when card is down?
I usually leave the magazine image down for approx counting ten.
@@CeriGriffiths thanks I will have a go when we have finished the postcards. I had selected some of my own photos but I didn’t get anything from the print. Must be the ink or paper. It’s a shame as I have some nice inages
❤❤❤ I am so bad at image transfers, that I've quit - mostly!! I think it's my images. I tend to do animals (I don't have ready access to fashion magazines or magazines that have people.). And generally, animals are meant to be camouflaged so not ideal for image transfers! If I ever get a fashion magazine or pictures that might work, I'll probably keep trying but for now I enjoy watching what and how others do theirs. Thanks for sharing.
One question: do you think that old black-and-white photos might work? I have a lot of very old b&w photos I have collected when going through my family photos. They are of people I don't know but haven't had the heart to try them yet. I've not heard of anyone using actual photographs for transfers so was wondering your thoughts. Nice job on the postcard (and the transfers). Love the colors.
DON’T use photographs on your gel plate, I’ve heard horror stories of people ruining their gel plate as the photograph sticks. I’ve never done it myself though.
If you really like a particular magazine image try making some laser copies of it and printing from those (at least in the US copy shops or libraries generally have laser printers).
Copy shops pretty much disappear with the pandemic here in the UK
INYERESTING
Very nice, what is that round thing you use on your print?
Not exactly sure what you’re referring to but here’s a couple of guesses. I used a Round foam stamp I also used a round wooden Baren which is a tool from the printing trade to press paper to ink. I hope I guessed correctly.
Plastic canvas?
