Thanks a lot for submitting your question. Could you please explain a bit more? Are you planning to read an FR4 tagged object and are in need of the right antenna? Or are you looking for an antenna made of FR4 substrate?
Dear Be positive, can you please send your e-mail address to us (www.cisper.nl/en/contact) so one of our RFID experts can anwer all of your questions. Kind regards, the Cisper Team.
It depends. If you are in need for a reader with integrated antenna, we would recommend the Nordic ID Sampo S2. If you have any other questions, please contact us. We are happy to help you.
I want to modify the antenna of RFID scanner. It is internal antenna. Does it possible to remove it or attach the new antenna to the end of the internal antenna. Thanks!
Technically it is possible to replace the internal antenna or extend its connection. But we would advise to contact the manufacturer. If you have any other question, please contact our sales team. www.cisper.nl/en/contact
What do you mean by "orientation of the tag. If the orientation of the tag is known" What do you mean by that? Because im in a way to choose the RFID antenna
Dear Ridho. For example in a production environment, when assets pass a stationary antenna. If the tag/label is always vertically passing the antenna, it will be better to use a linear antenna. The radiation field can be more precise with less RF power. If the orientation of the tag/label varies, it will be better to use a dual linear or circular antenna. If you have any other questions, please contact us. www.cisper.nl/en/contact. We are more than happy to help you.
