About the trick, the card you selected was indeed random and you didn't know what it was, you shuffled it to the bottom and kept it to the bottom, in the 2nd or 3rd position (no way to know that we can just guess), you then did the burn em trick were you showed us a card and took the card under so we didn't see that you were taking the selected card, you did it again, you putted the king in the bottom again, and by hitting the deck the last remaining card is all the time the bottom one (the selected card in this case) !
It was actually 3rd position beacuse on the 4th time he picked card from middle because if he showed the bottom card we would have seen the same 10 of hearts rewatch it and you will get it. Oh and you control card by overhand shuffle by peeling one single top card and then droping cards onto it and the reapeting till you get to 3rd position.

Ok here is the explanation you asked for. (Nice effect!!) Instead of placing the king in the middle you left it on top. From there you shuffled it right to the bottom by running the first card (the king). In the next shuffle you retained the king at the bottom. Then you ran three cards to the bottom and placed the packet with the king on top, leaving the king 4th from the bottom. Then you showed the bottom card, placed it onto the table. Then you showed the next bottom card and placed it onto the table. King is now second from bottom, after showing the bottom card you did the glide which is basically a simple second deal from the bottom, by sliding the bottom card out of the way with your pinky. The king is now already on the table instead of the 10H. The 10H is shuffled into the pack with a hindu shuffle. A random card is placed onto the table on top of the king. When showing the 4 cards on the table you do the glide again, showing the 10C twice and hiding the king (I would not do this) Then you simply cut the king to the bottom, holding onto it while slapping the other cards out of the right hand.
