My mother had this condition and it was ignored by her and once I learned about it. I made sure she doesn’t go for Dialysis it was a hard decision as everyone in my family opposed what I thought about it. As a yoga teacher, I made severe changes in her food eating habits and made sure I was cooking all her meals. 1 year later her kidney is in better health and I am grateful to god for that. She is getting used to and has learned how to do sensible cheating with her food. She is healthy and I want to tell everyone that nothing Is impossible and everyone deserves good health and yes it’s not easy to not pick Dialysis when you see them struggle but you have to ready to be completely consumed by the helping bit but it pays off when You understand the condition and make them believe , they deserve to live by just making lifestyle changes. Love and health to every one and more power to anyone who is on dialysis. You are supported and I pray for you all. May you all find all the Help and healing. With love and god all things are possible. 🌻

@@shraygautam3474 First! Relax and I want to tell you your mother will be well soon. All of you family members needs to be super kind to her as she may have encountered stress due to this!
As I don’t know the details for you mother’s condition. I can share some general pointers that may help.
      1) Understand her pottasium level condition. If pottasium is the reason- Make a list of food items she likes and what is the pottasium level in those food items. Also, make a list of food items with less pottasium.
      2) Almost every food item has pottasium in it so learn to calculate how many gm pottasium can be given to her daily. Use olive oil for cooking her food, boil the vegetables before u add them to oil and salt for cooking, No spices except cumin powder and hing. Avoid seeds and tomatoes. Just use salt, hing, turmeric and may be very little chopped onions if she eats, avoid tea and anything that may shoot her potassium level.
      3) meals shud be on time. 8 am light breakfast poha, oats, light khichri, light food. Again not too much. After noon lunch-12:30 to 1 pm. Evening dinner by 8 pm maximum.
      4) There are simple yoga asanas that u can search on UA-cam.
      5) advise her to meditate. She doesn’t hv to do it in a garden or a fancy place. She can chant “Om” 11 or 21 times as soon as she gets up in the morning on her bed in the Dhyan mudra and if she can do this in the evening before sleep. That’s will be wonderful. It helps with stress and clear body vibrations.
      6) Love her a lot. Spend more time with her. Often, sick family or parents feel guilty for putting their children through tough times and tend to become depress due to over thinking and it’s easy for them as their body immunity doesn’t support them at all.
      7) Any sort of light walks are great.
      8) Help her understand her condition in easy words as a sacrificing so much of nutrient food items can affect her badly . So telling her why this has to be this way is helpful and if she able to manager her pottasium levels to normal she can have cheat days. She can enjoy small portions of food items she likes.
      9) If you can, make her see a counsellor. A descent counsellor doesn’t cost as much as the stupid hospital cost .
      10) Keep her engaged and busy.
      11) Make her health a priority as if she gets well everything will be fine.
      12) Don’t give up! It may get sad and stressful to manage a disease like this one but affirm positive health for her.
      13) Keep a healthy picture of her in your phone and imagine she is super healthy and in great health. Talk great health for her . No matter what you may see. Believe, Believe and Believe.
      14) Pray thanking god for her great health.
I wish you all the best! I am not a regular on UA-cam here. Hope this helps!!!
Have faith! All things are possible.
Remember - she would this for you if it was you.
Sending your mother a great health and speedy recovery.
For diet - you can consult with Patanjali doctors as well .
      Take care ! 🌻🙏🏻

I would like to thank you ladies, I was recently diagnosed with minimal change disease,I just had a terrible relapse. So second bout in 6 months. The patient in the video nailed everything that I went (going) through. Then you put the medication in the mix , and it’s brutal. But for me it’s the not knowing, I’m kinda stuck in limbo with serious life changing decisions that can’t be made until I know wether or not I am going to be able to keep this at bay. It’s been four weeks and I’m just now starting to do yard work and light duty type work. Please folks take care of your kidneys, this is not something you want to face!

You can take care of your kidney by just 1/2 tbsp of Baking Soda in a glass of water with an empty stomach in the morning. My 34 percent GFR went up to 45 percent just in two weeks and this coming August 2019, I will have another blood test and quite sure it will go up again. My M.D was not able to refer me to Neprology,

My brother is 40 years old and his GFR is a 5. Creatinine is 11.4. He's on 200mg of HP meds, sodium bicar and now has to get Procrit injections. Unfortunately, his blood work is all out of wack. They put in a fistula a couple of weeks ago. No energy, weak, insomnia, severe cramping but he still has a good appetite. He says he doesn't want to go on Dialysis. So I can only pray that the medicines and the diet works. If not then I'll have to discuss the transplant option to him with me being the donor as long as I'm a match. 🙏

Many foods can tribute to low functioning kidneys. Oranges, bran, oats, wheat, bananas, dried fruit, tomatoes, nuts, beans, avocados, sweet potatoes, white potatoes, cooked spinach all contain high amounts of potassium which are terrible for your kidneys. Be sure to eat cabbage, onions, raw spinach, arugula, cauliflower, pineapple, apples, plums, watermelon, buckwheat, carrots, broccoli, green and red peppers, grapes (especially the red ones), celery which are low in potassium

Well, because in CKD patients, the kidney lost its function to filter the blood and regulate the amount of potassium. There are excessive K+ (potassium ion) that is not removed by the kidney and over time the amount of potassium just keeps increasing. Potassium is found plenty in fruits, lean meats, nuts, and beans.
