The best way to wash out halftones is to get both sides of the screen wet and then let the water sit into the emulsion for 2 minutes to ensure that the emulsion is loosend up before applying high pressured water to the screen for the final wash out. Also doing a circular movement durring the final washout with your hose or gun will aggregate the emulsion out of the screen quite well. Does anyone know if this unit can be used in exposing negatives in alternative photographic processes? Like VanDyke and Cyanotype?
Hi, can you tell me why the vacuum gauge might not be working? The vacuum works, but the gauge won’t move at all, so I don’t know the pressure.
