What do you mean? I heard that from every teacher I've had since first grade. Schools are well aware, but there's nothing you can do to motivate a kid that doesn't want to be motivated.
@@johnnycaralta basically im just saying that they shouldnt put students who learn at different paces in the same class. There is no individuality in the education so very few people actually absorb the information. Also schooling is set up for males to fail rn for the most part
@@jeremiahfyan Kids absorb things fine, there's maybe two or three per class that truly struggle, the vast majority are just apathetic and lazy. You can't cater to every single student, it's physically impossible.
@@johnnycaralta in this day in age you can. Online learning can be extremely effective in an individual setting and imo could be a valid alternative to traditional high school, specifically if you want to start specialized learning (like college/ university) at an earlier age. You cant simply say "kids absorb things fine" because thats a very broad statement with no actual backing to it. To survey every student would be impossible, just as more individualized education is aswell (in our current setting). Ask any ADULT to take a test they took in high school and most wont be able to pass. Even straight A students can have this happen. The stats support my claim,
@@jeremiahfyan I can say that, because it's true. If you have or are frequently around kids you wouldn't be able to disagree. Kids are sponges when they want to be. If you really believe kids will learn through a computer screen better than in a classroom, you're outta your mind. We would have an insane increase in failure rates if school was solely online. The problem is the teachers and curriculum, and it's only being accentuated by online integration. We need less internet and electronics in schools, not more.
I'm 24 now, I've been watching woody since I was 13ish. He was my dad when I couldn't talk to mine, he taught me about life. He taught me about morals and friends. I have listened to every PKA since the first one for 10 years now. I remember the first commentary on Afghan. I just finished college with a BA from the biggest college in NJ (where woody's from) and can relate to much of what he says. All I can say is thank you. You've kept me going and supported me throughout a large part of my life.
Woody is a damn good guy, I've followed him for years and even before I launched my own full-time UA-cam and Twitch streaming career that I now do after my long 15-year career as a Senior Software Developer at Microsoft. I'm glad to see that he has a house that is paid for and a para-wing to go fly around and just relax with. I'm still trying to figure out what I want to do long term since UA-cam is never forever.
"I'm failing at everything, couldn't even kill myself." How I felt when I woke up when I was 19, never really got over it. It's a sad world when we feel like we've failed our accounts in the game.
Fantastic and inspiring story! I remember hearing bits and pieces scattered throughout commentaries over the years, but it was nice to hear in one sitting. We love you, Woody!
I've been watching your channel since the MW2 days. I was in my late 20's and active duty Army so it felt weird watching teens on youtube. So I subscribed to your channel and I've been here ever since. I'm 34 now and I've never commented on any video ever, but maybe you'll read this and think its kind of cool. I too had a shit GPA in high school. But I went and joined the Marines after 9/11. Did my 4 years and then went to the Army (yes you're allowed to switch branches) where I ended up a CW2 flying Blackhawk helicopters at Ft Bragg. After 10 years of active duty (and I had been watching your channel for maybe 5-6 years) I decided to open my own business. I'm not a millionaire but I make as much as I did in the Army and it's kinda cool to be an entrepreneur. I would encourage everybody to do well in high school. But if you don't then you'll have to seek route bravo instead. And all that really means is that you may have to work harder than the other guys to get into college or to land a good paying job.
Miss the mail Monday's. I started watching you in grade 7 when I got my first CoD, MW3, you and TmarTn were my favourite you tubers. I'm now graduating high school in 12 days. Thanks for all the help and advice you've given me and the hundreds of thousands of others that watched your mail Monday's. Thanks Woody.
Since I never grew up with a dad, I appreciate have had finding you so long ago when you were one of my idols in the cod community. I relate to your story heavily, this video and also a lot of your life. Thank you so much for sticking through the rough parts and being here today to inspire kids just finding you and us that have been here for 6+ years :)
Woody I have been watching since around PKA 70, I'm 17 now and you have played a major part of who I am now, and I'm happy with who I am, thank you Woody :)
I miss your wisdom Woody. I remember watching your videos when I was 15 and I cant believe im 21. We still need you, whatever you decide to do, please keep us in mind :(
I remember mail mondays, I had a question read out and answered once on an old account. Restumbled across your channel and it brings back good memories. Things arent going so great for me at the moment, so hearing this really has helped me realise that things aren't as bad as they appear. Thanks for that, really appreciate it more than a view, like, comment or subscription can convey.
"I just enjoy my time" - "I might work again, or I might not" - Being able to say these things is what I would define as being successful. One day I hope to be able to do whatever the hell I want with my own time. Enjoy it Woody, you deserve it.
Inspiring. I had some similar experiences in my teen years, dark times after my mother passed. I was an early high school dropout, barely getting D's. I got into drugs and lost my first job to them. Just no possible understanding of what kind of future I could have. But I looked deep inside myself and tried to picture the man I could become, to appreciate every little success in life until I got there. I'm 20 now, I moved out and got a good job, started into a community college to get a degree in agriculture. Your videos have given me hours of entertainment and priceless guidance over these few years, that help me paint that picture of that man I want to be. Thanks.
I'm assuming this video is for the new people that I'm sure have come to your channel for the paramotor stuff, and even though I myself am not into all that, as someone who's been subscribed since Black Ops, it's crazy to come back every once in awhile and see you still making stuff and trucking along. You're an inspiration man, keep up the cool shit
Holy shit. Just holy shit. You are living my Dream, millions in a bank account, made your money mostly with a computer, living in the USA, owning big house with a big yard. And most importantly, flying with paramotor with no worries making youtube videos in same time. I've never seen your videos and i've been watching UA-cam videos like it would be TV since 2010. I found your channel/paramotoring videos through Tucker Gott's paramotoring videos(suggestions and comments). But this video got you a insta subscribe from me. Your life what i will aim for. Just got my first job at car factory(and i'm already 22yo), but i'm always wanted to do my own thing, my own business, and ofc making UA-cam videos(making money with youtube is my dream since 2012), but all that needs money to start with. Until then i'll live the rat race.
Woody, what a story. I stumbled across this video as I'm about to start paramotor training and was not expecting such an inspiring story. Thank you for sharing it and I wish you all the best for your future. It takes a lot of humility and courage to share what are quite deep and sometimes very dark parts of your life with others, but, I know it will inspire many and you probably dont realise it, but, you are no doubt still plucking many desperate souls out of that dark, angry sea. Respect.
just got this video recommended 3 years later. really proud of you woody. think of all the people you've affected. never would have happened if that leash didnt break. glad it did. keep it up, man.
Imagine being roasted by Minecraft Factions nerds, taking their criticism as constructive, and then hiring them. That's a level of maturity I don't think most people will reach.
I must have been about 14 or 15 when I first started watching/listening to Woody. I'm almost 24 now and still remember all the times some of Woody's advice came into play in my life. Thanks for all you've done to influence my life and the lives of others.
This is probably the first one of your videos I've watched in years, since you stopped doing the CoD stuff. I'm really genuinely glad you're doing so well and are happy, I hope your family are doing well too. I'm happy for you.
19:00 there's a couple Carolina Bays on the ground. Those are almost certainly impact craters from ejecta launched into the atmosphere from a cosmic impact in Saginaw, MI 11,000 years ago. There are tens of thousands of those Bays littered all over North and South Carolina...and they all point at Saginaw, MI.
Did a cursory google and turns out this isn’t true. Carolina Bays were thought to have been formed by an impact around 10,000 BP in the 40’s and 50’s, but the dating of the stratigraphy is closer to 60,000-140,000 BP. There appears to still be some debate, but it’s moved on from meteor impact to geomorphology. The most prominent theory seems to be wind erosion around 100,000 BP when there were adjacent sand dunes
Been a fan forever Woody, back to the MW2 and Black Ops days. Sort have lost touch with your channel ever since you stopped gaming and I went off to college, but I find my way back now and then. This was a great video and great story. The part where you begin to talk about your gaming life brings back so many memories.
Woody, I had no idea you went through such a low time and came so close to checking out man. I can honestly say I’m really glad you were able to turn that around. Not having experienced that level of depression I can only imagine how bad that must have felt. So glad you’re here today with such an awesome family and able to enjoy life to it’s fullest. I really enjoy watching your PKA podcasts and all your content. Keep being awesome bro!
I've watched pretty much every single PKA you've ever made, every COD video you made, and countless other videos relating to you. I don't think I've ever commented before. I know you say you get a lot of hate in your comments, but I'm just here to give some love. You are a good guy, and a positive role model for a lot of people. Thanks Matt.
thanks for sharing Woody. I only found out about you when you started paramotoring videos. and I quickly learned that you were someone I could and would look up to. It was awesome because we actually started to fly at the same time. so I could watch your progress and it was great. You didn't hide anything. your struggles and excitement was real and I felt it too.. anyways thanks for being you man!
Hey Woody. I've been watching for 7 years or so and know your story but it was great to hear it again. I know you don't know me or many of the people that watch your videos personally but you have been a huge positive role model for me and so many countless others. It has been an honor to have been able to follow you on your journey and I'm so grateful for the advise, entertainment, and wisdom you've selflessly given to UA-cam. I'm super supportive and excited to see what's to come.
i dont know how many times ive heard your suicide story to meeting jackie but what i do know is that i can still listen to it and i learn something from it everytime.
THANKS Woody!... over my time through gaming and then into the game of life, your videos have continued to inspire me... Ever since your very first mail monday I've been sub'd and have always checked back in at any stage of life and found I could relate to your ideas and values... At 23 yrs old, I think this is my first ever UA-cam comment, in over 10 yrs... I appreciate your time and effort and just thought I could return the support... :)
Haven't seen a lot since the mail Mondays days which helped me a lot while I was 15-18. I watched this as a slightly wiser 21yr old and can only say I'm happy things are going good for you Woody. Whatever your endeavors are, you have a UA-cam fam to support you!
This video motivated me, Im going thru the same drought. Doing bad in HS, Ever since this virus started it kinda got worse. But im not gonna let that stop me from chasing my dreams.
It's crazy how all of us grew up with woody guiding us as a father figure. I started watching you when I was in 7th grade and next year I'm going to graduate high school. It's insane how much my life has changed since I started watching your videos. I still watch the new PKAs right when they release and when I finish it I go back and listen to old PKAs while I do work and such. Thank you Woody for all the great times, advice and entertainment you've given me throughout my childhood.
The dogleash is how one of my friends killed himself 3 years ago. He was always so funny, I never saw it coming, not from a mile off. He wasn't my best friend or anything but I still think about him all the time, and if how maybe id paid more attention maybe id have noticed something. It's been 1000 nights and I've spent countless of them awake thinking about it.
Been following you since the early MW2 days, when I was around 14. I'm 21 now. You've been like my online dad - someone who occasionally can get on my nerves (past events) but ultimately someone who I really admire and look up to. Thanks for being you.
Hey man, I've been watching you since MW2 and I've been a huge fan of PKA since it came out. I'm 22 now so it's safe to say I first stumbled on your videos when I was 14. I'm re-listening to all of the episodes all over again (on Ep. 14 now) and I love hearing the things that you guys were going trough then and knowing the outcomes of all of those situations now that I'm looking back into them has been really neat. You're an inspiration to me and I'm very happy for you and proud of you. You have earned everything you have and it's so great to see you enjoying it now. Stay safe in the skies, Woody!
Hey Woody, I was one of your subscribers who started watching back when you made Mail Monday videos. It seems like an age ago, oh how time flies! I've spent many hours watching and listening (PKA) to your stuff and have learnt many valuable life lessons along the way and I'd just like to say thanks on behalf of everyone for what you have done because although sometimes we may just seem like letters and words on a screen, we are actual individuals from all over the world whose lives you've had a positive impact on. You're a great guy and I wish you all the best for whatever you choose to do next. Harry
As a a state Ocean Rescue Lifeguard here in CA, I went through the exact dilemma as you coming into the competition as a underdog. 3rd year on the job and I couldn't be happier on where I am physically and mentally. It's really neat to hear that one of the youtubers I grew up watching and even taking some advice during mail mondays, shared the same accomplishment as I did. Thank you Woody:)
Haven't watched the video yet but I know your story, I've been a fan since pka 82 and you're like a father to me. I'll never forget you, you'll always have a place in my conscious.
xMrMagic yeah same, literally grew up from like 16-21 listening to this guy atleast weekly. Not gonna watch cause I've heard the story, but really have learnt a lot from you woody.
Woody I never commented on any of your videos but I liked over hundreds been a fan since Mw2. Just wanted to say That you were the father I never had, and I big part of who I am today is because of you. Thank you
Ultimately you always have to be your own hero in the end, so you can still take inspiration and make the rest of your life the best it can be from where you are now.
Woody I have been watching you since 8th grade, Im coming on my 3rd year of college now and well you have helped me a lot through middle school and high school, still help me crack a smile in PKA when i need it. You have no idea how much you have impacted my life for the better, I've followed your advice countless times for example, i still remember a mail Monday when you said to not finish quickly during sex you just do math in your head, or to go for it, not every girl is going to say yes, theres gonna be rejection etc. Basically you've helped me a lot and well just wanted to let you know that. Love ya Woody, imma keep watching your videos every week.
Woody, I've been a fan since Mail Monday and Black Ops days. You were a big inspiration to me during my teen years, and I just wanted to thank you for creating awesome videos and let you know that you were a big inspiration on me both in my growing UA-cam channel as well as in life. RSQ for life, fuck Kyle.
17:00 'But a lot of your success is about playing smart' I think you subconsciously summed it up right there mate. I previously had no idea who you were (I was just clicking through related paramotor vids) but I gotta say I couldn't stop watching. Inspiring stuff and it hit home for me in a lot of places.
Woody if I give you a TL;DR version of my life you wouldn't believe the extent to which your advice got me on a better trajectory. Seriously, where all these other people have views and popularity, you have legacy. And that's gunna shine through when all of this has faded. Thank you for sticking through it in the tough times and inspiring a large percentage of a generation that would have otherwise done it wrong along the way. I hope to do the same some day.
woody I've been watching your videos since I was in 7th grade now I've graduated and I'm going into college. I have always seemed to remember a lot of the advice you've relayed throughout the years. I want to thank you for making the mail Mondays even when you faced hate for some of the advice given because you really did have an impact on my life and so many other peoples lives. Although though your days of helping people as a life guard have long passed you have helped thousands of people through your UA-cam content through the years. Thank you.
Always love hearing these, and you seem to add in more details to the story every time you re-tell it. You definitely deserve to be in your happy place where you're at today dude, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
havent watched you for awhile woody, still subbed, still love you. i became less interested as you started into minecraft, i loved your idea behind it to spend time with your son. Your MailMondays are still my favorite series on youtube. I appreciated you through middle school/highschool. You definitely helped me through those weird awkward years. Thanks man keep being you and inspiring people the way you do.
I can't say that I have kept up with your videos as much as I always did when you were the Unexceptional Gamer, but I have stayed subscribed since and don't plan on unsubbing. You answered one of my messages during a Mail Monday a few years ago, and I still go back and watch that video from time to time. Can't tell you how grateful I am for your presence on UA-cam. Whether you're gaming, advising, or paramotoring, you've earned my sub for life, my friend. Keep being awesome!
Woody. Ive been with you since the MW2 days. I remember your first shout out from Wingsofredemption. Shucks you, the first pka, mail mondays and all the actual game commentary and critiques. I remember when you asked the subscribers what they would do if they were parents and cancer was going to take them. Even when you quit your job for youtube. Since then, i grew up and kinda put the youtube couch potatoe with the 2.75 kd days behind me. I've checked in here and there and every single time, you've gave me a piece of adulthood advice, even without trying. Seriously, you are the most influential youtubers Ive seen and one of the few male role models i have. Fuck, with out you trying to help wings lose weight, i wouldnt have gotten off my ass and lost 220lbs. Sincerely thank you. Thank you so much.
I started watching your videos when I was 14. Every day when I got home from school I'd check to see if you uploaded. I'm 23 now and I don't watch your videos anymore, but I'm glad you did so well for yourself. Good for you, Woody!
There's two things I have learned from you that has stuck with me forever. 1: Things get better, 2: In a debate, you can't be against something without being for something else. (Like choosing a restaurant) Lol
Incredible story, Woody. I'm new to your channel from the paramotor world, so thank you for sharing it again. Life is all about finding what makes you happy and I'm glad you've accomplished that. Thank you for letting us fly along with you on your journey.
Your work ethic is inspirational Woody. I hope I can someday have a fraction of the discipline you have. I constantly think of stuff you say like "touch it everyday" or "the best day to plant a tree was yesterday, the second best day is today" and "motivation is fleeting but discipline is permanent." Thanks for doing what you do and sharing your story even though you don't need to.
Thanks for sharing. There's a lot of people out there who need to hear it. The saves you made as a lifeguard, awesome. No one can take that away from you!
Well done! Your story reminded me of an article I saw a while back about bridge jumpers. They interviewed two people who'd jumped from the Golden Gate Bridge and had somehow survived and recovered from their considerable injuries from hitting the water at close to terminal velocity. Both of them said they changed their minds on the way down. One said he instantly re-analysed his situation in the couple of seconds after he pushed off, realized it wasn't hopeless, and finished the ride down full of regret.
I got my first xbox 360 when MW3 came out and everyday when i came home from school i would go check youtube to see if woody uploaded a new tips video, glad to have grown up with you man
I dont really watch your newer videos (besides pka) , but man this video brought me down memory lane. Watching mail mondays everyday after school, cod, and laughing at u wings, kyle, taylor, sub, lefty, etc.
Woody, thanks for still making content even though you don't need the money or anything like that. You have had such a great influence on people and its so nice to see you still keeping in contact with lots of them through your vids. If anyone deserves to fly around happy in the sky all day every day it is definitely you.
Woody was always a great role model and didn’t deserve the hate he got back in the day. People were just jealous of his success. I’ve been watching Woody since 2009 and he’s truly an awesome guy and deserves all the success he has gotten.
Is used to watch every single mail Monday at age 14/15 I'm 21 now turning 22 in a month, I was so depressed those years I still carry a lot of it with me these days but it's videos like this, your mail Mondays and many more that give me the strength to get through it all
Thank you Woody for all the Mail Mondays, I've grown up with your videos by my side. I was a kid in middle school trying to be better than my friends in Call of Duty when I found your channel. I was immature, had no idea what I was doing in life. When you slowly transitioned from strictly gaming content to life advice that's when it hit me. I learned so much from all the questions you answered, and that helped me fight through my depression. I've changed my life goals because of your compound interest video. I was so excited after the first time watching your how to become a millionaire in 22 years. That video was a turning point in my life where I realized I could actually be successful. It turned all my interest towards investing and finance. I just cant say how much I want to thank you for helping so many people in all types of situations. I was at a point to almost ending my life and now I'm ready to take on the world. Your life story has truly been inspiring and your channel has changed me into someone I've never thought I could be. Thank you, you deserve your millions and time to recharge yourself.
Thanks for making this and sharing your story woody. I feel like I am a lifelong failure and nothing has ever gone my way culminating in me recently dropping out of school and losing my job. A couple of things really stood out to me about your success that really I think has been the advice I've been looking for and needing to hear. I wish you and your family the best.
Mail Monday is what got me through some tough times in my short life. Feeling like I wasn't alone in some of the things I was going through and feeling like I actually had a father figure to get advice from was amazing.
Watch the trees for a bright spot below where there are no visible shadows from the sun and there is always Woodys shadow in the center. It's like a highlight follows his shadow. It makes perfect sense but is still cool to see.
Hey dude I've watched your viedoes for a long time and I just wanted to say I really appreciate what you're doing. I was never into paramotors but just from seeing this I'm far more into it. Besides that I really relate to the video. I've had a fairly rough time mentally throughout high school, but since I've got to college I've felt much better. Not too sure if you'll ever see this but you've been a huge inspiration in my life. You've always stood up for the little guy so to speak and that is aspirational. Keep it up dude you've changed my life and many others through your mail Mondays and other videos. I appreciate it as well as many others and I sincerely thank you for it. Keep doing you dude and I'm sure you'll be happy. Keep it up because happiness and positivity are all that matters and you spread both. Thanks dude and keep it. Thanks Charlie
proud of you man i've been watching since mw2, I remember the times before pka, great to see how far you've come and I think UA-cam played a huge part in that.
I randomly decided to check back in on your channel and see what you’ve been up to and I’m kind of bamboozled where you are at in life now. I started watching you when you had less than 50k subs and honestly learned so much from your videos it’s nice to see you doing so well.
People who have never dealt with depression don't understand, I'm glad that your down point was not the end and things turned around for you, thank you for sharing.
Youll always have a special place in my heart woody. Thank you for being a big part of my childhood you've taught me many lessons over the years. Keep being you 💙 i cant help but to come rewatch your stuff a few times a year. You're the man
I was subbed for a while back just before the minecraft server days, back when I used to play CoD. Never knew the full story, pretty crazy Woody, pretty inspirational as well. Ive had my struggles with mental health, also have a failed suicide attempt. Its a good story to tell that can help people who are at rock bottom. It does get better, you just gotta keep going, ask for help, take a different path and recharge. Cheers man.
Im 24 this year, and ive been casually watching you since i was 12 or 13. Back in mw2 days. So happy to see your still doing well. Love the pka clips too since i cant always watch the podcast
I really love you Woody. You've impacted my life incredibly because my dad has hardly been there for me. All of your advice, entertaining stories and especially PKA have made me into a better person and I wouldnt be where I am in life without you helping me find motivation. You are without a doubt the father of UA-cam.
Thanks for the video Woody. I was good to hear the story of your life and how you got to where you are now. I was one of those people that watched a lot of you UA-camrs along with Whiteboy, Hutch, Wings, F!$t, you, and several others. I am glad that things worked out for you and that you were unsuccessful in ending your life as a teen. Teens have so much pressure on them and sadly many think that ending their life is the best solution, which is totally false. You are a shining example of how someone's life can change. I am looking to get into the paramotor scene and hope to be able to meet you one day, although I am way out here in Cali. Cheers!
The "im not dumb it was a lack of motivation" is something schools need to learn about.

I'm 19, Ive been watching you since I was 13. You're like my cool UA-cam fun uncle
Dank Videos Daily Why is this so accurate tho lol
Same

Dank Videos Daily 19 and still a virgin i bet

I'm 24 now, I've been watching woody since I was 13ish. He was my dad when I couldn't talk to mine, he taught me about life. He taught me about morals and friends. I have listened to every PKA since the first one for 10 years now. I remember the first commentary on Afghan. You've kept me going and supported me throughout a large part of my life.
One of my biggest role models growing up. Love you Woodster
Just seeing this 3 yrs later, hope you’re doing well brother
I hope you are doing well

Fantastic and inspiring story! I remember hearing bits and pieces scattered throughout commentaries over the years, but it was nice to hear in one sitting. We love you, Woody!
Holy shit i didn't relize you watched woody. Love your balled of gay tony 2 ep a day or riot. Why don't you shoutout woody?
you realize woody put tmartn on

Did my 4 years and then went to the Army (yes you're allowed to switch branches) where I ended up a CW2 flying Blackhawk helicopters at Ft Bragg. After 10 years of active duty (and I had been watching your channel for maybe 5-6 years) I decided to open my own business. I'm not a millionaire but I make as much as I did in the Army and it's kinda cool to be an entrepreneur. I would encourage everybody to do well in high school. But if you don't then you'll have to seek route bravo instead. And all that really means is that you may have to work harder than the other guys to get into college or to land a good paying job.
its been 2 years since you commented this, but it still rings true and i appreciate it
Hope your doing great
Miss the mail Monday's.
You're a father to many, and a mentor to more. I think we're all glad to see that you've reached success over these last few years.
Go jets!
never get tired of this story, we love ya woody!
overtflow never heard of you or seen your videos. But it’s a great story. Glad your suicide attempt failed.
I miss your wisdom Woody. I remember watching your videos when I was 15 and I cant believe im 21. We still need you, whatever you decide to do, please keep us in mind :(
Gustavo Ortega they are still doing PKA and he’s live on twitch a few times a week :) I love when he plays marbles it’s so entertaining lol
PKA show
Wow, Andy's toy really grew up to be an inspiring man
I remember mail mondays, I had a question read out and answered once on an old account.
You're an inspiration man, keep up the cool shit
one of my favorite videos, remember, life is long, don't give up on yourself - woody :)
Hey, how's the life in 2021? Update?
You're awesome Woody. You share your ups and downs and that inspires those who need it, despite the risk of the A-holes beating you over it.
Dude, you want another challenge. You want the feeling of your name being announced and your personal stock going up. It's cool.
Respect.
i always come back to this video every once and i while. long time pka fan but this is more real than humorous
Glad you’re still here :) thanks for everything.
just got this video recommended 3 years later. really proud of you woody. think of all the people you've affected. never would have happened if that leash didnt break. glad it did. keep it up, man.
Not the bees!!
Imagine being roasted by Minecraft Factions nerds, taking their criticism as constructive, and then hiring them. That's a level of maturity I don't think most people will reach.
i loved woody already, but i just gained so much more respect for him when he said that
I must have been about 14 or 15 when I first started watching/listening to Woody. I'm almost 24 now and still remember all the times some of Woody's advice came into play in my life. Thanks for all you've done to influence my life and the lives of others.
ive been watching sense i was around 13 im now 21 you have helped me through some rough times you like a second father to me never stop the good work
Lucksh0t Studio Looks like he didn't help you through English class.
This is probably the first one of your videos I've watched in years, since you stopped doing the CoD stuff. I'm really genuinely glad you're doing so well and are happy, I hope your family are doing well too. I'm happy for you.
If you ever come back for some reason, thanks, woody, thanks. Love ya
Shut The Muck Up this is actually cool information! Thanks!
Thats super cool! That would have flew right past me without notice if you hadn't told me that. Just another thing to show you how vulnerable we are.
@@croesuslydias6488 Everything you said is 100% wrong... LOL!
Whattttttt i live in Greenville sc and I have literally always wanted to.know what those were now i know lol hells yeah
It's crazy to see how many lives Woody has affected.. Definitely an amazing father-figure!
With so many people experiencing depression--especially young adults--it's important to know life can go on and get better.
I just found Woody from the PKA clips, and he seems like such a nice and wholesome guy. I can really relate to how he felt with swimming.
thanks for sharing Woody.
Holy crap. I'm only 1/2 way through the video and I am so moved. What an inspiration. Thx Woody.
Okay, you have no idea how much I needed to hear this story. Thx
wow.. this is the EXACT same comment I was about to make!
i dont know how many times ive heard your suicide story to meeting jackie but what i do know is that i can still listen to it and i learn something from it everytime.
Just chillin at 3000 feet tellin folks muh life story.
Haven't seen a lot since the mail Mondays days which helped me a lot while I was 15-18. I watched this as a slightly wiser 21yr old and can only say I'm happy things are going good for you Woody. Whatever your endeavors are, you have a UA-cam fam to support you!
Every couple of months I come back to this video just to listen to this story. It really drives me to have some inspiration when I'm feeling down.
This video motivated me, Im going thru the same drought. Doing bad in HS, Ever since this virus started it kinda got worse. But im not gonna let that stop me from chasing my dreams.
Awesome man. I’m rooting for you. Always.
It's been 1000 nights and I've spent countless of them awake thinking about it.
wow i'm really sorry for your friend and for your loss.
Woody is an S-tier story teller. He could narrate paint drying and make it interesting
Haven't watched the video yet but I know your story, I've been a fan since pka 82 and you're like a father to me. I'll never forget you, you'll always have a place in my conscious.
same here
respect brother! same for me!
xMrMagic yeah same, literally grew up from like 16-21 listening to this guy atleast weekly. Not gonna watch cause I've heard the story, but really have learnt a lot from you woody.
same i was 14 and now im 21 in nov... crazy how much woody has impacted our lives!
Yo! you remember the train wreck that was pka 100? Lol I love pka, but i hated those ddos mother fuckers that kept ruining it.
Woody I never commented on any of your videos but I liked over hundreds been a fan since Mw2. Just wanted to say That you were the father I never had, and I big part of who I am today is because of you. Thank you
I wish I discovered you earlier, you would have helped me alot in my younger days..
You definitely deserve to be in your happy place where you're at today dude, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
woody is so inspiring to all who are suffering honestly
havent watched you for awhile woody, still subbed, still love you. i became less interested as you started into minecraft, i loved your idea behind it to spend time with your son.
*Anyone else the MOST excited before even watching?? This is how you title a video, Woody, well done*
Miguel De La Torre and to "fuck Kyle" lmao
I remember Mail Monday's, Tactical Tuesday's, Wife Wednesday's, PK Thursday's, and Feedback Friday's. Man those were the days.
I got my first xbox 360 when MW3 came out and everyday when i came home from school i would go check youtube to see if woody uploaded a new tips video, glad to have grown up with you man
7:40 that’s gotta be one stinky flyover. Pool full of animal Pooh lol
Is used to watch every single mail Monday at age 14/15 I'm 21 now turning 22 in a month, I was so depressed those years I still carry a lot of it with me these days but it's videos like this, your mail Mondays and many more that give me the strength to get through it all
*4:05** best inadvertent cliff hangar I've ever seen..*
I have hope you will find your way
Woody and Trev used to play GameBattles together on the original Black Ops; Woody is the reason I subbed to Trevor's channel in the first place.
Thanks
Charlie
proud of you man i've been watching since mw2, I remember the times before pka, great to see how far you've come and I think UA-cam played a huge part in that.
I randomly decided to check back in on your channel and see what you’ve been up to and I’m kind of bamboozled where you are at in life now. I started watching you when you had less than 50k subs and honestly learned so much from your videos it’s nice to see you doing so well.
Doofenshmirts head on the ground at 22:28
People who have never dealt with depression don't understand, I'm glad that your down point was not the end and things turned around for you, thank you for sharing.
Well done Woody..... from a paramotor pilot in South Africa... stay strong... you've come a long way....
Cheers!
One of the GOATs of UA-cam for sure!!!!
