- I present you with the latest addition to my collection of custom-built models, my 1:34 scale Lodal EVO MAG-20 garbage truck! I decided to go with the late '80s/early '90s model, and painted it in the old Waste Management paint scheme from that time period. It's not quite finished yet, I'm having to re-work the tailgate hydraulics, and I still need to do the decals and such, but I thought I'd show off what I've got so far. I spent a lot of time trying to make this truck as realistically detailed and as accurate to the real thing as possible. The packer and cart dumpers are fully functional, and the tailgate raises. Once I get it completely finished, I'll make an update video! And before anyone asks, no it's not for sale. Also, in the opening shot, I sat it next to the First Gear 1:34 scale Mack MR/Wittke FL for size comparison so you can see the scale accuracy. Anyways, thanks for watching!
WOW! Always wanted to see a fully functional model replica of a Lodal MAG-20 MSL in action compared to the 1s Ive seen in action in real life. Even the trash bags look realistic too!!!! Awesome Fantastic Detailed Work!!!

Lets see, a Unibody truck with a Detroit Diesel, Allison Transmission, Rockwell Axel, GM Steering, Morse Shifter, 15.22.5s, Custom Harness, Dana Hydraulics that Splatters Grease into the Radiator. A lot of different parts from a lot of different Companies with a lot that can break down.

Make an automated version of this and be sure to make the packer go all the way to the back while dumping cans so you have to get back their and shovel all that shit out from behind the packer blade.
The way my county does things is you don't use a hydraulic lift, you hurl the bin with brute strength into the compartment (just saying)

I used to be a helper on one of these, the exhaust would Deafen you and the Front End got Lighter as the truck Packed Out. They are Miserable on the Highway and Can't Clear a tipping Platform to Dump.
