I love that the design and name are so utterly simpatico. Even if i hadnt seen the name id have thought of sand with that color scheme and side swoop. Excellent design language.
I recently discovered your channel and really enjoy it! I’ve got a Tofu60 V1, and after getting it, I stopped looking at other keyboards because I absolutely love its simple design. With a bit of effort, it can sound amazing. That said, please, for the love of all things holy, get a caliper! You can measure front heights, PCBs, and more, taking the guesswork out of the process. No disrespect intended-I also enjoy the natural vibe of guesstimating-but after watching 10 of your videos over the past 3-4 days, I couldn’t help but sit here with my caliper in hand, pointing it at the screen, thinking, "Use this, use this!" 😄
Alex, I encourage you to try any diamond switch on a plateless build one day. I know plateless tends to make every switch sound good, but trust me when I say, the diamond shaped switches plateless hit diff. I know you’ll like that sound!
Dont your 2U keys have "rocking" when combining cherry clip-ins with long pull switches? Whenever I use this combination, the keycap doesn't sit correctly/fully on stab stems
This looks really nice. If only HE PCB options were more common. I'm now using the QK65 V2 Classic because it's one of the few customs with proper HE PCB.
This board is crap because it only offers aluminum plate, so it's directed at very few customers. If I could get this with normal amount of case foam and fr4, I'd buy it in a second. Whoever designed this, they are pretty dumb to target only one customer.
Thanks for bringing the pictures back when mentioning the colours! ❤❤❤

IC’d this one as soon as I saw the leaks, THAT SIDE OH MY LAWD. ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS KEYBOARD
Its better in person too
@@alexotos about to tell KBDfans to take my money. It’s a Need, not a Want😂
GB is live now. There is a copper bottom case option now, also they add more colors rose gold and red.
beauty with gorgeous sound
The reviewer, right? :O
@@FriedKvothe ofc :)
no u
$350 for basically a brass bottom is insane value.
That side profile has me feeling some kind of way
It looks so hot. The board is also pretty cool too
Videos like these are what got me back in the hobby. Alexotos designed keeb when?

@@NanescuRadu1 LMAO this was just the kick in the ass I needed. Ordering it now
@@alexotos LOVE IT!!!
0:30 i swear he said "skibidi fans" instead of kbdfans
LMAO, bruh the timelines are just merging into one, I probably did.
Great. Now I can't unhear it.

can you give a recommendation on a good diamond switch that have travel distance from 3.8 mm ?
Wish they do this in TKL! The gold is something else.
Wow, this just does everything right imo.
This board design and color woow i like it
Love the desk mat! Where’s it from?!
Wow they offered a copper mid instead of the brass. I am so torn between sand/ brass and rose/ copper.
I wish the case added a sun somewhere in the top corner or center on the bottom case so that I can have both sand dune and the blazing sun
I want this design in 70-80%
I love how the group buy is unlimited, should be done by more vendors *cough* jjw I love his boards but they sell out in an instant
Looks nice 🔥
What keycaps are Those?
would you recommend copper or brass?
Nice
"use real units"
My eyes rolled fully out of my head lol.
What a sexy board
alex could u review the newer prebuilt 75% board like rainy75 or bridge75,? would love to hear ur opinion on it
Agreed^ the rainy is booming right now. Alex has to check it out.
8:12 the wrong kind of rush rush :(

What cables do you use Alex?
Nice side profile but I don't like the dune engravings at all. And how the weight cuts on the back side wiggling like that. Seems kinda random.
when is it coming out?
About 6 months till you’d receive it.
When if GB?
Starting mid-september
Started today
Well, would be weird if the color "sand" wasn't the prettiest on a board called "dune"
I FULLY AGREE.

cinematic ahh keyboard
Alresdy
How is it out of stock
no split space is criminal, but expected :/
Get out of here. Blue is the best color.
AINT NO WAY.
BRO I FEEL THIS TOO, I'm torn rn between dune and midnight but leaning midnight
It looks great but $350 holy shit, if you dont include the price of brass, this is a $90 keyboard
Have you seen that design? 350 absolutely justified.

Gotta learn the desert typing style to avoid attracting the worms 🪱
