My goal is to one day buy a 68 Impala, my father when he was 20 years old he had one. I want to follow in his footsteps. My dad was born in 1949. Hopefully I get one before my dad is not around, so he can enjoy driving one again.
I did enjoy the rides very much. The smoothness of the ride in a full size muscle car is the best. Thanks for watching Rod. Getting ready to watch your video now on R Humphrey. See ya soon Brother!
Fritz obviously goes above and beyond to take care of his immaculate Chevy’s! I wish he could have “Let her Eat!” so we could have felt the full power of those 398’s, but he respects his neighbors (& school zone). Thanks for highlighting two gorgeous classics!
I agree they are immaculate and very well taken care of. I enjoyed the ride very much but I’ll admit I wanted to feel the full power also. Thanks for watching I really appreciate it a lot!!! Have a great day!
Good morning Ray hope all is well. Those two cars have been a favorites of mine for a long time. Great cars! I'm glad you enjoyed the ride along too because I sure did. Thanks for watching I always appreciate it!! Have a good one!
That’s why I’ve drooled over them for so long. Drop dead gorgeous is the perfect way to describe them. Thanks for watching I appreciate it!!!! Have a great weekend!
I’m glad you like it. I’ve been in love with both those cars for several years. Sorry for the delay in responding to your comment. I’ve really been under the weather. Thanks for watching I really appreciate it a lot!!! Have a great Sunday!
Two immaculate cars Randy. I'm not at all jealous that you got to ride in both either, honestly. Great video as ever my friend. Take care Randy. Cheers, Huw
When ever they offer a ride I’m not shy about taking them up on their offer. It’s always an added bonus👍. And I agree two immaculate cars. Thanks for watching Huw I always appreciate it!! Getting ready to watch your video now on Wooden It Be Nice. Have a great weekend my friend!!
I had a ‘63 Super Sport Impala. These are gorgeous! The speakers on the transmission hump, are they from a outdoor movie theater? Don’t they roll around? Never seen that before.
I’m sure your 63 was a really nice car too. He did get the speakers from an old closed movie theater and fastened them to the floor. He took a lot of pride in those cars. I agree they’re gorgeous. Thank you so much for watching. I really appreciate it a lot.
Tips for anyone wanting to chrome dip anything, welding EVERYTHING together on one metal pallet will reduce the price to ONE PIECE, so if your door handle costs $75.00 to dip, welding onto the same pallet as the bumper and you’ll get both, in which the entire car could get dipped for $75.00😊😊😊
Interesting cars, as the Impala sedan will star in my future faith-based literary work to be titled, Mineral County, as an unusual, suspicious primer gray '68 Chevrolet Impala, in which the residents of the community will keep mistakenly identify it "A '67 Chevrolet sedan ", when in fact it is a 1968, and they also would ABSOLUTELY forget it is an Impala.
@awesomecarsforever , I'm also starring a 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu as another unusual suspect car in a backstory of a smaller work, titled, "An Incubus Behind the Wheel". 📕🖊🔍🛞 🔦🚔🚘📸💿🗂 Both works may potentially turn into movies, "An Incubus Behind the Wheel"(made for TV)🎬 and Mineral County,(On the big silver screen), to make it to theaters.
Yes it was a small leak that was fixed the very next day. He had a new system put on. Outside of that I thought they were excellent cars. I wanted to video them from the first time I saw them. Thanks for watching I really appreciate it a lot!!!
A buddy of mine had one of these I rode in all through high school. Huge trouble with exhaust for certain. Exhaust manifolds are leaking, and what was that big puff of smoke upon startup? Need to get rid of those stupid hinge pins on the hood. The trim is not original as stated. I like it, of course. My buddy's engine was shot when he bought it, so he bought a short block for $600 and did it all over. The stock exhaust was quiet, as befitted a luxury coupe. It was loaded with all the same stuff, including tilt wheel. The car hauled ass, even with the lowest 325-hp version of the 396; when you cracked the secondaries on that Quadrajet, you knew it. BAHWAHHHHH.....
I just painted my 1968 caprice 4 door.mine has two caprice symbols on front and back seat .arm rest and back seat same color inside outside ash gold had black vinyl top but painted all one color

I like the drive-in speaker in the cars.
@@josephliptak Me too! Thanks for watching I really appreciate it a lot!
Just ran across this. I had a 68 Caprice. It had bucket seats with a floor shift and the best part is it had hidden headlights.
Sounds like your 68 Caprice was really nice too. Thanks for watching I really appreciate it a lot!!!! Have a good one!
I love the hidden headlight look.

Love the swoop back, sport back, fast back, or whatever they call in on the ‘68 Chev.

They are beautiful cars! Thanks for watching I really appreciate it a lot!!!!
you got me missing my 68' Caprice coupe w/paisley black interior and rally wheels. I regret hat I got rid of it. Shark 🦈
Sounds like your 68 was really nice. I think we all miss some of the cars we had. Thanks so much for watching I really appreciate it a lot!!
Lovely cars my friend.
They are indeed. I love the fact that they are original and period correct. Thanks for watching I appreciate it a lot!! Have a good weekend.

Sounds really nice. I’ve always loved the Caprice, Impala, Bel Air and Biscayne body styles. Thanks for watching I really appreciate it!!
Caprice looks like it may have had hidden headlights although didn't see the vacuum canister under the hood
I know I really enjoyed the interview. Very nice cars. Thanks so much for watching I really appreciate it!!!
nice cars but you need new exhaust manifold or donut gaskets
The exhaust was fixed the very next morning. Thanks for watching I really appreciate it a lot!!
Sounds like it has a exhaust leak
It did but it was fixed. Thanks for watching I appreciate it a lot!
I thought the same thing. The puff of smoke when he first started it means it's probably the manifold gasket and not the collector.
@@ShadeTreeKennyT It was an exhaust leak. But it was fixed the next morning. Thanks for watching I appreciate it a lot!!!
Huge leak
Caprice is ok but I like way better the 68 Chevy impala fastback let me know if you wanna sale it thanks

Exhaust leaks
That’s true one did have a leak. But still nice cars and the exhaust was fixed the very next morning. Thanks for watching I appreciate it a lot.
