- Finally made it to GM today! In true HPMA matchmaking fashion, the game put me up against some crazy good teams once I got close to GM, I lost three matches in a row before I won the final two I needed to rank up!
The last team I played had lower level spells but they had some good strategy that almost took us out! I was pretty impressed!

Yeah, it does! People with lower level spells can still do a ton of damage if they use a Hermione Whiz-Bang deck, it’s just crazy!

Thank you! I suggest for everyone to go with a deck that works best for them. BUT there are things I have noticed. For lower Spellbook levels, you can still get really high damage by using a classic Harry deck (all 3 and under spells), Snape with Kevin+Time Turner also is great for high damage, and Hermione+Whiz Bang is extremely good. You just have to be a bit practiced to hit your opponent with Inflatus+WhizBang consecutively but it doesn’t take long to get the hang of it. Very effective! I’ve shared the decks I’ve been using this season in my community posts. Which is Luna or Twins (and I have used Snape a few times) But I’m sure now that I’m in GM my decks will probably have to change up a bit.
