Hi, thank you so much
I use leather fabric
I love all your videos. They are excellent. The only question I have is about the glue you use. I have never found a glue that sticks right away the way yours do. In fact, I always have to use hot glue to be able to do anything. But then, there is the mess and the way it doesn't dry transparent. What glue do you use? Thank you.
Hello, dear friend, I'm glad you like the videos, hot glue can't be used for everything. Use foam glue

@@avicrafts Thank you!
Is this satin stretch? Thank you!
Hi, It’s no stretch satin
hi what was the last material used to cover up the inside of the headband ?
Hi,
I use leather fabric
@@avicrafts thank you for the quick reply much love 😘
Your welcome ♥️
I wouldn't use glue with fabric because it will almost certainly seep through. Covering the glued parts with vinyl or something similar to cover the glued fabric could be problematic because the white core will show around the edge ruining the project. Sorry to be so negative. The headband is lovely, and maybe a highly experienced crafter could make it work, but anyone else is likely to get in a mess. Perhaps try a video showing how to do the most part (aside from attaching the foam to the headband) by sewing. If people don't like sewing, perhaps this project is not for them. Best wishes, K
Thanks so much for this reply. I had been thinking the same thing, but discarded the idea as impractical. Thanks again!
@@bettygrullon9496Hi Betty, Thanks for your message. I just watched this video again to see if I could suggest something that would work. I am new to this type of headband, but make books. I learned about glue seeping through by making a mistake!
I watched the video again because I wasn't sure if she was using a stretchy fabric. I don't think what I am going to suggest would work on a stretchy fabric.
The way to use any fabric with glue is to make bookcloth. It isn't difficult to do. Choose your fabric. Then iron a piece of thicker tissue paper or Japanese rice paper (I would recommend the rice paper. You can buy it online fairly easily) with something like bondaweb. Now you have backed your fabric with a barrier that (hopefully!) will not allow the glue to seep through. The thinness of rice paper will not make the fabric rigid but will keep it's flow.
There are videos on UA-cam that show how to make bookcloth. It might be worth viewing a couple. The videos will be for making books so some are unnecessary complicated, like making your own paste, etc. But there are a lot that show the iron on version.
The only other thing I would add is that I use a thicker glue. Something like Arlene's Tacky Glue. (I may have spelled the name wrong). Then add it fairly sparsely but evenly.
I hope this works out for you. All the best, K
Muda y ni siquiera deja ver las medidas. 😮
What kind of ue you use please
