🏳️🌈 l love the 2000 Showtime series ( Queer as Folk ). It's amazing both actors Hal Sparks and Chris Potter are straight. Both men have female partners and children. Not too many straight men can do romantic scenes with another man, that takes good acting skills. Rock Hudson had to do the same thing in reverse. 👬 🎥
Perhaps Ruben there is a little bit of bi in both actors, they seem to be relaxed and enjoying themselves in each other's company. 😁😊💖

.. this series and movies were eye openers and Ch4 in UK took a lot of flack - gay sex on tv !!!, Ch4 continues to usually lead here with LGBTQI tv - kudos. On the tv series I cant recall if the USA or UK version came first? I agree great acting by str8 actors in this case. Like gay porn acting is acting and (i'm told) wink wink, one can tell if the actors/models are good at what they do (the acting), the body language, the eyes, the line delivery... a good actor is just more natural.
The BEST EVER movie Ive seen is '1985' - has me balling like a child every time.... here tho, the lead is actually gay, and truely a great actor
@@were-all-human9427 As far as the sex scenes, well it was Showtime and not on over the air TV. It was a head of it's time and long over do to see queer people like us. I wish Netflix had a new 2022 gay series like this, I believe it would be a hit. 🏳️🌈

I connect to David soo much that I feel like he is just a representaion of myself on the screen
I kinda lost interest in queer as folk after Michael said that he and David are done and I didn't wanted to see the series cause every time that plane scene comes in my mind where David is sitting alone in the plane expecting Micheal would come and then next scene looks away, eyes wet and probably thinking about his flaws which Micheal pointed him out during their argument.
It make me very sad that David was just trying to give Micheal a life he couldn't affort . I do agree that David was bit dominating but we all have flawes and they could be worked out. I have learnt a lot from David about relationships. (gosh I can just keep on writing lol)
