Paxton and Devi have nothing in common. Their relationship is like a fling you have while waiting for someone special. Her and Ben on the other hand are more in sync intellectually, push each other to grow and have an adorkable chemistry. Devi will always have to dumb it down for Paxton. Dexton is just lusting after each other and it's never ever going to last. I hope season 2 doesn't ruin the show like Riverdale or Sabrina! Besides, the actor for Paxton IRL is so much older than Maitreyi, it's weird.
yeah it would be interesting to see the love triangle for comedic purposes but i hope her and ben end up together because they never had to be fake around each other and they would be able to have intellectual conversations as you said. plus the only reason she liked paxton was because he was cute so yeah no thx haha. also it is very obvious in the show how much older paxton is. he looks like a senior college student trying to date a freshman high shcooler

Plus the age gap between them is really huge and gross considering the actress who plays Devi was a minor while filming the show and had to kiss someone 10-15years older than her. I really want a s2 but don't want them to ruin bevi (Ben and Devi)!
THE PERSON WHO ACTS AS PAXTON IS 21!!!
I personally don’t really think Ben and Devi are best together as from personal experience I have noticed when people have similar personalities like they do they often clash and when they do it’s bad hence the years of hatred between each other. I also feel like ben might not really be the best person I understand he has had a very lonely life so people feel sorry for him but that doesn’t excuse the fact that he cheated on his girlfriend with Devi. I think exploring her relationship with Paxton would be good as it might show a deeper side to their relationship rather then looks as it shows personal growth and also shows how maybe the “popular” kids aren’t all necessarily shallow and learn that the most important people in their lives might not be considered “cool” but are truly what they need. I believe Paxton has genuine feelings for Devi and maybe Ben just sees her as someone that was just there at the right time and that it really didn’t matter who it was the out come would’ve been the same for them with him as well.

I absolutely dislike all the tween shows scattered around the different studios. On that note, I was super glad I gave this show a chance. Felt relatable, drew me in empathically, was comedic...I love it!! All the actors were perfect in they're roles, the soundtrack got me dreamy, and the ending touched my feels so hard!
