Shower is definitely one of the most challenging "normal" activities for me and how often I manage to shower is a barometer of how well I'm doing.

Thanks Dan and Rachel! Love this interview. 💙And Dan drinking a smoothie! (Making smoothies and running out of bananas!) 💚Weekend at Bernie's! (Keeps coming up this week but Rachel's was the first mention...) (Wrote notes as I listened.) Holy sh-t disability and cookbook writing--and having to hide illness in process of publishing... Rachel, I really like your use of "diagonstic tools." (And observation of how few there are for ME at this point.) Ooph the confusion, awfulness, and despair of the diagnostic process (if it's a process at all). And all the things we have to figure out on our own. That's really cool that you advocated for research around the MS med. Holy f-ck the Mayo GET situation. Gaaaaaah. Glad you dodged that, and that they've stopped doing that (I think that's what you were saying). Haha "my husband is a real indoor enthusiast." Love the idea of having the best indoor quality of life you can. (I feel really lucky to have access to indoor space that is generally manageable sensory wise...) Really interesting how you wound up focusing on nutrition and making healthy foods focusing on "the path of least resistence." (I had MCAS long before I had ME and for years I was allergic/reactive to almost everything. My food allergies got a little better when I got ME, I think because of LDN, though I still can't eat many foods. I feel so lucky for foods I can eat.) Really interesting, process of getting the book deal...
