Anitta made this song as a criticism of a government bill that was meant to criminalize funk in our country. Funk is widely criticized in Brazil for containing lyrics with sexual content and many apologies for drug use, but unfortunately it is the reality of the peripheral minorities that do not have access to good living conditions, education, security and that instead of being protected by the government is totally excluded. Anitta came from the suburbs, was poor at this level and wanted to show in the clip that she too came from this hard reality. She's giving a voice for this minorities

Sandro Luis// The word 'suburb' in English means exactly the opposite of what it means in Portuguese - it actually means an area where upper middle class people live. In English one would say 'shanty towns' for favelas or even the word 'favela', as it has become well known internationally.
@sandro I don't really agree with u, we have free education in brazil(elemental school high school and even free university?? Why are you saying that, That's not politic or education fault if people choose drugs and stuff like that insteand of sitting the butt in the chair and studying for only 5 hours? Most Europeans country u have to pay and study more time than peep study in brazil. Btw i like funk and yes the original funk has a lot of sex stuff evolving it, so it is really bad anyway :/ i don't listen to funk when i am near someone else even though i like funk but i rarely listen to it
In this music video Anitta is going back in her roots, she was born and raise in a place like this and started her career singing funk before she singing pop music. Can you believe this people in the video aren't hired actors or dancers? They are locals, actualy this guy pouring oil in the girls are a bartender who was passing by the location and was invited to participate! Lucky bastard! Lol...
Anitta is obviously the bombshell with braids, Mc Zaac is the brazilian guy with a red cap, TropKillaz is a duo of trap music producers (the ones with jackets), Dj Yuri Martins is a funk music producer and the american rapper with yellow shirt is Maejor. Oh... and the big chocolate girl with giant boobs is Jojo Toddynho (something like Jojo Nesquik) she just released a music video a couple weeks ago.
Ah! The vid of Jojo was also requested so I might check that one out as well. :) the video felt really genuine so I’m actually not shocked that it was filmed with locals. I actually applaud that since it shows the real Brazil instead of a made up scene. Thnx for your comment Fast Fam!

The reason why the video have so many dislikes is because a lot of Brazilians have a lot of prejudice against It. Funk is kind like what rap was in the US back in the day. They talk about their reality in the favelas; guns, drugs, poverty, police violence, gang violence, sex... and a lot people here fell that they shouldn't be singing about that, since, in their minds, there's nothing good in this kind of living, like they shouldn't be proud of that. They're saying the video is too sexual, too explicit, and that makes Brazil "look bad" for foreigners, and don't want to be portrayed this way. And there's the fact that the video was directed by American photographer Terry Richardson, who was accused of sexual harassment recently. The fact that she's a woman showing her body. And the list goes on and on. That's why it's so controversial over here. I hope that I helped you understand It. Sorry for the big text.

So maybe it’s just good for the world to see that things aren’t going 100% well at the moment so that people can act on that. Acting like it isn’t happening isn’t going to solve the problems. Funk is a controversial type of music... It can from the favelas, just like Samba. But some people call Funk as minor culture.
