I haven't caught up with his whole discography but 21's latest album really surprised me, I bumped half the shit on that album for like 4 dys straight which is unusual for a 21 Savage project. I'm not gonna say he could become the new king of hip hop, nor did he reinvent or refine his formula like when jumping from Issa Album to I am > I was, but DAYUM this shit was still fire. If he keeps up this momentum, you might just be right. He might even be able to sell his music by letting it speak for itself the way Drake, Eminem, or really any elite artist in general (not just hip hop) does, without doing any fun, weird or controversial gimmicks to get people talking. "Dark Days" is the last song on "American Dream"; it is by far the best and most meaningful song he has ever done and it's a travesty it is NOT AT ALL PLAYED EVERYWHERE. This is the real 21 and I hope this is the direction he is going down, not to say I dont like him making songs like "Redrum" because it's fun, but the world is a sad place and he can make a difference not just in music, but so many other lives
