I'm Swiss and I really think the idea of a national state is not the best way to organize politically or as a community. And that's what a country is a organizational unit. Weird question.

Living in a country with four official languages teaches you, from day one, to be or to try to be at least a bit open minded. If you think that 25% of Switzerland's population are foreigners and many swiss citizens are - in fact - "half blooded", it's easy to understand why we don't really "hate" other countries. As a Swiss, I shall chime in a bit here. We are in some ways the "Japanese of Europe", we like it clean, we like it punctual, we like "harmony, so we try to be polite and not insult others but also we like to not tarnish our personal reputations by saying anything too outrageous in public. Saying you "hate" a country is seen as a massive insult and possibly you could even be labelled a racist if you say that. So let me vocalize some of the thoughts for you (source: lived here for 35+ years and listened to a lot of people talk). In no particular order, and NOT my opinions: - Germany, for silently filling up our country with strange people with way too much confidence and talking an extremely annoying language (not SWISS german!) - All countries heavily influenced by Islam for acting like we are in the dark ages - China for being a big scary blob with a very sinister government that is up to no good - The USA for their annoying extrovertedness and their fetish for dumb celebrities - ...
Well there are european countries behave like we are in dark ages as well. In addition before usa influence most of islamic countries were seculer countries. However after "FREEDOM" operations they became extreme islamists.

I am Honduran and I live in the United States. I have been to 22 countries and although every country has its good and bad things, some countries you just fall in love with them. My all time time favorite country is Spain, and my top 5 are: 5-Italy 4-France 3-Switzerland 2- Cuba 1- Spain. I hoping to visit Iceland and Scotland next summer. let see if my top five changes.

Many Germans come to switzerland to work. They don't understand our accent since it's very different. We Swiss don't like to speak standard German.

Many Germans come to switzerland to work. They don't understand our accent since it's very different. We Swiss don't like to speak standard German.
