Thanks Paul for posting this video. I am attempting to restore a Continental GT250 of my own, and seeing you having a "burn up" on this lovely example has given me renewed enthusiasm to get in that cold garage and muddle on!

sounds fantastic Paul, if I could get mine to perform like that i would be in 7th heaven. Can't get 4 gears to select properly let alone 5.

That’s a good example, it wasn’t that far off when you got it but it takes a skilled touch to get the best out of it.

Yes, hammering s**t out of the baffles is just what I would have done as the 16 year old first owner of that 250. 😂 May you never grow old.

Hi Paul my pal had one in 71 he toasted me easily one my Tiger Cub, couldn't get near the handling as my bike had been very tired on the suspension front. As I remember he had no baffles in...

Revs nicely, thanks to a bit of Valley tuning and the suspension doesn't seem crashy.
    A 'gentle' steel toecap?😁

Sounds mechanically quieter following the work in the primary chain case.

Some of the gear change finesse depends on the rider ? Will the owner of this one be fortunate enough to try the bike out under your eagle eye?

Leant someone my Goldie silencer after he complained his Velo Thruxton would only do 70. He came back next week telling me he binned the pattern silencer after the Goldie one gave him 110

Sounds much better after your modification, and certainly seems to be more eager to rev.
    Mechanical noise also appears reduced
Did you reset the inlet valve adjustment? You mentioned it was rather generous in the first video
Apologies if you did and i somehow missed it

PS in a motorcycle-unrelated question, when is the last time that Hymer motorhome next door actually moved?
It's in all of your riding videos and seems to have grown roots

It actually belongs to my parents and was mainly used to attend race meetings, which we don't do so much of anymore.
