第3集的「詠春」獲18點（約115萬觀眾）的高收視成績，邀得20多年沒有上擂台的詠春師父雷明輝跟主持施祖男對戰成熱話。「詠春」的拍攝除了施祖男學詠春，亦有他跟師父和師兄弟接觸相處的感覺，點止介紹功夫咁簡單。提到說服雷明輝師父重踏擂台，倪秉郎稱，雖節目開拍之初有故事大綱，但中間遇到難預料的變數只有且戰且走。拍攝中獲得雷明輝師父的信任，從心尊重人與尊重事實，結果讓觀眾看到這場難得的比試。

Please don't take it negatively. I have posted very positive comments on the Master's other clips. Out of everything I see this is the ONLY bit that I dislike, so in my opinion it is really really well done.

You can't block a swinging arm on the inside at the elbow. It worked on the person being demonstrated on because he deliberately kept his arm straight; no one is going to keep his arm straight.
