I would have tumbled head over heels coming down that front staircase. I fall down our house stairs from the second floor to the main floor, that's with a railing on one side and a wall on the other.
This is the only port we didn't get off at. It wasn't because of the horror stories we heard about Belize. We got really sunburned the day before at Mahogany Bay. We had an excursion in Cozumel that we were excited about.... so we sat Belize out. Looked like y'all had a lot fun. Thanks for sharing, God bless y'all 💙🙏
Minor side note: at 15:50, what you called a buoy is really a "fender", an flexible, air-filled "bubble/bladder" that is put over the side of a boat, to protect it from damage when two vessels come into contact.
I was with a group cruise just the week after you were on the pride it looks like. My whole group went to the Wet Lizard and I opted to cave tube and zipline on my own. Belize is a beautiful country. Thank you for sharing your adventures.
Not sure if it's still the case, but years ago, you could not give blood if you had recently traveled to some parts of Belize. We did a cave tubing excursion and recommended it to a colleague. The person was a frequent blood donor and was a little miffed at me because of the restriction.
Wow, when we did the same tour a 3 years ago, we climbed the high temple (wooden staircase on the back for part of it). Maybe they weren't letting people climb because they were working on it. Or maybe it was that your tour was shorter and not enough time? Anyhow, still a great tour.
Question, when the excursions are booked through the ship, does the tour company get the pay? Just wondering, I know in most of those countries or ports that's how they make their living.
@@parodeejay thank you, sorry but I always think about the underdog, that's why I get so aggravated when I hear of people cancelling their gratuities. Can't wait to see more. Have a safe trip
Just a tip: Don't do the passport stamp! I did one back in 2017 and it actually hung me up on a trip to Canada because the customs guy wanted to know what I'd been doing in Honduras. Nothing more than just really uncomfortable and about 12 questions about why I was there, why I was traveling alone, where I would be staying, did I know anyone in the country.... And then a couple of years later the guys in London put me through about the same thing. Just don't do it. You never know where that passport might take you some day.

Looks like an interesting excursion.
One of my favorite excursions ever! Hope you got to see lots of howler monkeys 😅 ❤
It all looked like fun
I liked The Heart of Soul show.
“Nick Lachey up in here.” Jay, you kill me!
We loved our excursion in 2019. We were able to get to the top of the tall one. Unfortunately, we didn't see much wildlife.
Thanks for sharing this video with us. You both are so entertaining. Just love the video. Thanks!💕💕💕💕⚓️🦩🛳️😎🌴🌺❤️

GOOD MORNING
Great memories! I did that excursion in 2017. You were on that cruise. When I went we went up to the tallest pyramid they are working on.
It looked like fun but I could just imagine the heat. Thank goodness for the shade.
Good morning!
Dee! You are my shero. No. Way would I be able to do that climb. WooHoo!!! Were you guys able to finish your lunch? Things seemed to happen VERY fast.

Dee is so cute lol I love watching these vlogs because I miss cruising, but hey going on one in 2024 woohoo!
We did this same excursion last June. Lot of walking but was worth seeing the ruins and the monkeys. 😊

The cruise lines takes a cut, but the tour company does get paid, yes.

You also don’t want to waste passport pages. Who knows how many blank pages you might need future forward?
Did you see toucans?
