When 'We're An American Band' came out then it was mostly Farner and Brewer co-writing the album with Brewer writing the title song. After that album Farner still wrote the majority of the songs. This is the going trend it seems these days though. It's all about the brand not the band. Numerous classic rock bands out there performing with one or no original members left. Sad. Foreigner - no original members left, Journey - one original member left, Styx - one original member left, Kansas - two original members left, Molly Hatchet - no original members left, Little River Band - no original members left. I guess the list goes on and on and will continue to do so.

Saw Bob Segar perform at a place that was known as the Harbor Lights, a venue right on the Detroit River, and other up and coming stars out of the area, but when i was introduced to GFR i was blown away. This is a disgrace to Mark Farner al because of that greedy bas---- Don Brewer. I will never spend a penny on seeing these want to BE's.
