Lol all the Somin simping... RELATABLE!
The thing i love most about KARD are their dance practices. It's easy to miss with their solo shots in MVs, but they flow so well together as dancers. The choreo perfectly bridges masculine and feminine, too. and the boys and girls do so many of the same moves! I feel like it's so unique to have a big dude like Matt doing the same delicate swishes as Somin, and vice versa with the bold moves. I've never seen coed performers embrace that contrast the same way KARD does
This song reminds of their first few songs. Very light but also heavy on the rap lines. Love them! To me, this is quintessential KARD. A killer summer song and they look like they are having lots of fun.
I know you’ve mentioned before that Latin-type music aren’t always your kinda music so I wasn’t expecting a reaction for this 🥹 This is such a treat!! Yesss, this is defo somin’s era and I’m so happy that they’re all back tgt again. They look so happy in their live performances it’s so infectious :’) anw The other tracks on their album are such a vibe and q different from the title track. Re: (title of their album) is a nod to their debut and restarting things/re-debuting so you get a feel of their old sound but also how they’ve grown as well.

BM and Jiwoo are the main dancers! Jseph is a lead dancer! love this choreography so much because of the both “feminine” parts and “masculine.” Its great to see the guys do these moves more! KARD choreography is Always great! They usually do have a sort of pair system, usually BM and somin, jseph and Jiwoo but it’s switched up this comeback (similar to how it was when they first debuted).Somin is complete killing this era, she’s definitely shining! The bsides to this album are amazing, the boy’s vocals really have improved! Jiwoo’s vocals in breakdown are beautiful.
Whenever i need a mood boost I watch the Oh Na Na funny dance performance. I love how they mix the masculine and feminine

J.Seph’s hairs probably that short cause he just got back from the military and hasn’t had time to grow it. Also you should should check out break down it’s a great song
I thought J. Seph stole the show in the dance practice because he seems super happy and he kept being a little "extra" making Jiwoo and Somin smile.

When they debuted they had a big impact here in south america, and they NEVER forget us. No matter how style they use we will always love them, specially for all the kindness they have with us. I'm so so happy with this comeback and to see them together again.
08:50 BM and J.Seph are the dancers of KARD, they trained for dance for much longer than Jiwoo and Somin and much more than rapping (or singing) and were dancers for other DSP projects (like later KARA comebacks) so they can dance the house down.
A few years back someone asked if BM could only choose between rap or dance to do for the rest of his life, he chose dance. So they are no joke when it comes to choreo.

I was thinking the same with their choreo, even in their more harder stuff it just seems like they’re vibing instead of focusing purely on synchronised movements (which they do have) they just are so comfortable with their dancing that it feels so playful and loose whilst being in sync, there’s a song they have called Oh NaNa it’s one of my favs but the choreo vid goes OFF!! Actually all their dance practice/choreography videos go OFF, they’re just such great dancers, Hopefully one day you can get around to more of their dance practices and choreo vids, they’re totally worth it :)

I think I should give you some context on this comeback. Before Hola Hola Kard had 3 pre-debut trabks you havent seen, wich fans concider their debut. Oddly enough their most viewed MV is one of em: Dont Recall. This was very remenisent of their pre debut style. This comeback was after 2 years and is called "RE". It was ptomoted as a Re-debut and they went back to their oroginal style but upgraded. To OG fans this comeback has a lot of meaning becaise it is a trowback.
I realized you never seen a dance practice or choreo video by them before. This very much typical Kard choreo. They switch it up of course but they are the masters of body rolls and swaying their entire body. Also very much fun amd fluet choreo with a lot of space for individual chatacter.

I think within the K-pop industry, KARD does the latin dance based choreos the best. Not just only choreo wise but also flavor wise, they embody the "freedom" side of it in a very natural way. And don't get me wrong, I love it when groups incorporate latin style dance to their choreos and do it all synchronized, but I think this feeling of freedom is what makes KARD's choreo feel more authentic and close to home. Just having fun and vibing ❤
The idea was to return to their original sound. I think they really accomplished that and I’m happy to see them kind of start in the next phase of their career. They’re so talented.
My first kard song that I vibe with. Love that Latin beat, it's reminiscent of egotistic or chungha's demente. And it's wild how certain kpop groups have popularity in certain parts of the world and not others.

So glad to see you react to KARD! This comeback is such a chill but fun summer song. Their EP is wonderful too! There’s only 3 other songs, but they’re all pretty good. One is even in English (or it mostly is… I haven’t read the whole lyrics yet). Def worry checking out! So glad they’re back
Loved your reaction! You should maybe consider checking out more of Kard's dance practices if you have the time! Their choreographies are very creative imo and I always enjoy seeing them dance together! They even have dance practices/performances videos for their bsides and some covers they did at concerts! Bsides: push & pull, go baby, knockin on my heaven's door and cover: Taki Taki.
Latin inspired/influenced kpop is personally one of my favorite subgenres (if it's done well. sometimes it can very cringe), aka why kard and bvndit are two of my top groups. but the moment I saw cosmic girl and kdh were also on the track, I knew it was gunna be a bop. did not disappoint at all for me. ✌️

Ring the Alarm's choreography is one of my favorites for this year! It is just so different than what we are used to seeing and I also love how the members move together. I was pleased with this song but my favorite of the album is maybe "Whip" it's a perfect summer song. BUT "Breakdown" sounds like something Jiwoo would have done on Good Girl and I'm all for it!
