Huge fan of wings. Love this vid. Straightforward, no messing around. Little bit of seasoning, 1hr on the grill - job done! Thanks guys. Definitely gonna line up some wings this weekend on the PK360.
Over the holiday weekend my brother's family and I grilled up some Jerk chicken on Saturday and smoked some baby back ribs on Sunday with all the best sides! I love food!
What perfect timing! E and my son work overnights and we were talking about BBQ chicken last night. I said we need to look up recipes for a good sauce. He said, no worries, I bet Chud posts one soon!
I love direct heat grilling........my meadow creek bbq42 yields the best smoked/grilled/roasted wing. I can turn out damn near a whole case of wings in about an hour.
Cornstarch on wings is the best thing for a coated wing on the smoker that I have found. It does give them that extra crispiness that the skin alone does not provide. I still prefer them naked but it is good for a change in pace.
This is perfect timing, already had some defrosting in the fridge for this football weekend. I’m making your torchys tacos queso, now I’m going to make these!! Keep up the good work!!
When doing wings, I like to keep them intact, so I get the skin stretched at the joints. If I cut them, that membrane between the drumette and the flat coils up and I don't get it, but uncut that stretches out and gets nice and crispy.
I’m pretty much on seltzer. But I would definitely drink coors light from their pint where their mountains turn blu Use to drink miler lite before I realized there is actually a lot of better beer.
blue cheese for spicy wings. ranch for savory wings. no sauce for sweet wings. smoked then fried is the best way to cook wings. this all my personal opinion.
Can't go wrong with any of them. I've even done smoked and then high heat grilled (or under a broiler) to get a little char and crisp up the skin. Perfect example of simple foods can be the best foods...
I think blue cheese rocks! Cooking Thanksgiving for a couple dozen people this year, 2 turkeys deconstructed, breasts smoked to ~150F, thighs deboned and grilled to ~190F, wings JUST LIKE THIS, leaving the drumsticks. Maybe popsicle and teriyaki to 200+F?
I hated blue cheese until I had a GOOD homemade blue cheese dipping sauce. Night and day compared to store bought stuff. I still love a good homemade ranch though.
Funny, I made my simular twist on some of these last weekend. They came out superb. I perfer Lighthouse extra blue cheese or country style ranch. Paired with country style potato salad and churched up bbq beans. Grandson loved umm..
I love watching your videos. I am very much interested in that little hot coil and how it works. Is there a video that you put out explaining this or did I miss something? Thanks for everything. Keep up the good work enjoy your shows.
Hey Brad, Malcolm Reed on how to BBQ right does a chicken wing direct on the Webber with corn starch and it’s crispy. Love your videos thanks for sharing.
How does the heating mechanism work? (Sorry if this has been explained before, but I’m curious as I have never seen anything like that except on this channel)
Love it! Question... What would be the difference between the direct heat you just did and charcoal grilled. Isn't that the same thing if the lid is closed?
You know what they call Buffalo wings in Buffalo? Wings. One of the best ways I've made wings is to smoke them first, then grill to crisp them up. Finally, just toss them around in a bowl with melted butter and Worcestershire sauce.
Funny to read the comments wondering how you cook on your cutting board and how the Chuds trivet works. 😂 Newsflash: he’s heating the pot on a burner off camera!
Chicken wings either BBQ or deep fried are in the top five of dishes you can do, and I'll die on that hill. I also don't mind blue cheese haters, that just means more blue cheese dressing for me.
Bradley. You again sir have provided a video for me to follow lol😂. I can’t tell you how many of your videos that I’ve watched and tried your cooks. Keep them coming brother !
Stopped watching your more recent grilled seafood video, to check this out at 6am... Not disappointed! I am grilling some head on skrimp sunday n some oysters too, with hella garlic butta!!
just saw the burrito sausage a few min ago. Here's an idea/challenge..... Butter Chicken Sausage! I wanna know if if can be done and if so..... would it be worth it/any good?
That's how I i make wings for my family. They love it.. love how when you were explaining what you did Evan just are the wing cutting you off 😂😂😂 love your content
The last bit, of just Brad and Evan just CHILLIN like bros, crushin wings and beers and shootin the shit is kinda perfect.
We can't possibly know it's any good without the official taste test. I'm glad you remembered last minute!
There is nothing I love more than a video featuring the magic trivet!
Huge fan of wings. Love this vid. Straightforward, no messing around. Little bit of seasoning, 1hr on the grill - job done! Thanks guys. Definitely gonna line up some wings this weekend on the PK360.
How do you do the magical cooktop? Do you have an induction burner hidden under the table that heats the chud piece?
id also like to know
He heats it on a burner and brings it in front of the camera to do show.
I love the Paloma’s singing in the back ground aka quails
I use Ranch of Blue cheese for the celery that goes with the wings. I never use those sauces on the wings.
BLUE is the BEST on wings!!! 😋😋😋
Ranch is for veggies, blue cheese is for everything else. Love the videos bud
How does that Chud Hot Spot work?? Induction?
Wings cooked over charcoal hands down are my favorite way to cook them! 🐔🐔
How long will a mop sauce last? Can you store it in the fridge?
Lighthouse is the stuff. Beauty wings.
these are my favorite. the quick weeknight cook packed with flavor!
Can you tell us about that induction but we you have on your cutting board?

Smoke-a-fried is the way
You set yourself up in this one for strong magic trivet questions. Lol.
Love a grilled and mopped buffalo wing.
Just in time for Football season!!! Thanks trying this Sunday
Honestly chicken wings are my favorite thing to cook on the chudbox
I love direct heat grilling........my meadow creek bbq42 yields the best smoked/grilled/roasted wing. I can turn out damn near a whole case of wings in about an hour.
Excellent vid! Big blue cheese fan with wings and a shallot blue cheese sauce for "cheap" steak.
Cornstarch on wings is the best thing for a coated wing on the smoker that I have found. It does give them that extra crispiness that the skin alone does not provide. I still prefer them naked but it is good for a change in pace.
The best wings I've ever had were smoked, flash fried, hit with dry ranch seasoning and then sauced. Perfection.
What’s the difference between direct heat smoker/box/pit to a charcoal Weber kettle besides the depth?
Another delicious video. I love direct heat cooking....I direct heat cooked some spatchcock chicken recently. You just can't go wrong!
Lighthouse blue cheese is the best. Grew up on it as well!
Wings and blue cheese, the ONLY way to have it. 👍🏻
This is perfect timing, already had some defrosting in the fridge for this football weekend. I’m making your torchys tacos queso, now I’m going to make these!! Keep up the good work!!
Blue cheese and wings go together like peanut butter and jelly.
Just in time for NFL sunday!
These look great! Something interesting from your tasting conversation, what is the difference between "charcoal grilled" and "direct heat"?
Any info on that cool thin burner plate?!
Those look spectacular. Once again I am now hungry

Shout Out @Chuds BBQ #Direct Heat Papa 👊🏼

Delicious looking chicken wings! Thanks for sharing!
I hated blue cheese until I had a GOOD homemade blue cheese dipping sauce. Night and day compared to store bought stuff. I still love a good homemade ranch though.
Never bad my friend. Never bad. Love the sneak in ending boot snake.
Blue cheese hell yea!!!!!
how are you cooking everything in the pot? Is there an induction element on the underside of the table if so what brand?
I've been wondering this as well. It's some sort of voodoo magic.
How long does it take to get the trivet up to temp. Good to see it's power enough to boil the sauce.
Another great video! How about using the versatility of your ChudBox and use the rotisserie for those wings?
Hot wings on a hot day - perfect for a Litehouse Chunky Blue Cheese moment!
Fried and Grilled is pretty good
Love the videos! I've seen it in so many videos, but I can't figure it out: what is the power source for the hot plate?
The pot is preheated. The trivet just protects the table
What’s your best blue cheese brand to go with ?
I have seen so many of videos with mop sauce but this one gots me ready to buy a mop now. 🤤🤤
What is that Cudd burner you're using on top of your wooden cutting board to melt
Funny, I made my simular twist on some of these last weekend. They came out superb. I perfer Lighthouse extra blue cheese or country style ranch. Paired with country style potato salad and churched up bbq beans. Grandson loved umm..
BBQ chicken mountain!
Maybe add some Szechuan peppercorns to the rub? I think grilled wings are the best flavor and should be spicy/mustardy/buffaloey for sure.
I love watching your videos. I am very much interested in that little hot coil and how it works. Is there a video that you put out explaining this or did I miss something? Thanks for everything. Keep up the good work enjoy your shows.
Yeah I was wondering about that too
Maybe it was an off day but the wings I got a couple weeks back from mama fried were pretty dry. Tastes great
Hey Brad, Malcolm Reed on how to BBQ right does a chicken wing direct on the Webber with corn starch and it’s crispy. Love your videos thanks for sharing.
We tried these out on Sunday, absolutely delicious!
Just wondering if you’d be able to post a video with your ranch sauce recipe for us to try?
How does the heating mechanism work?
(Sorry if this has been explained before, but I’m curious as I have never seen anything like that except on this channel)
It's magic.
Love it! Question... What would be the difference between the direct heat you just did and charcoal grilled. Isn't that the same thing if the lid is closed?
He's cooking it direct heat over the charcoal coals. So there is no difference. He has the lid closed except when flipping/mopping.
maybe the cornstarch dredge?
What is that little plate you cook the sauce on?
You Is The Mann ! Looks And I Bet Delicious. Thanks For The Class 🤙
These look so good. I'm going to make these this weekend - thanks for the inspiration and guidance!
Boy howdy those wings look good! You need to get your hands on some Pepper Plant Pepper sauce. Makes the best wing sauce I’ve ever had!
What induction top do you use?
Dude. just did these on my WSM (poor man's Chud's box). They were great
You know what they call Buffalo wings in Buffalo? Wings.
One of the best ways I've made wings is to smoke them first, then grill to crisp them up. Finally, just toss them around in a bowl with melted butter and Worcestershire sauce.
Funny to read the comments wondering how you cook on your cutting board and how the Chuds trivet works. 😂
Newsflash: he’s heating the pot on a burner off camera!
silly question, what do you do with the excess mop sauce?
That's a Try.
Is that just a hot metal sheet you make the sauce with?
Chicken wings either BBQ or deep fried are in the top five of dishes you can do, and I'll die on that hill. I also don't mind blue cheese haters, that just means more blue cheese dressing for me.
Made this today on Weber kettle, nothing to be disappointed with other than Cleveland Browns and D Watson performance
If you're not eating Bleu cheese with your buffalo wings, you're doing it wrong...
Your comment needs more likes
What is that hot plate you made the sauce on????
It’s chud rub spicy?? Was thinking of ordering some
What is that Chud's hot plate thing ?
just saw the burrito sausage a few min ago. Here's an idea/challenge..... Butter Chicken Sausage! I wanna know if if can be done and if so..... would it be worth it/any good?
Oooooh, that would be a fascinating one!
How long does that play stay hot for?
How did you spread out the coals for this cook?
I feel like i've known ya my whole life.. and that's a good vibe keep going and growing... giggity
Jesus Christ these look amazing awesome video man
Your the Bbq boss bred😎👍
Im guessing you have an induction cooker under your cutting board counter too
only miss is to inject them with texas pete sauce
So Brad - how does your sauce pan stay hot? You putting it on a burner between cuts?
Yeah I was curious to like what magic is this metal plate staying hot?
Is it wrong to double fry your wings?? I really love the crispy skin..
I never understand what that hotplate is you put on your cutting board and it just heats the pan. Is it connected to a heat source?
Direct heat wings are so good.
More blue cheese!!! I like to make my own b/c sauce, thick n heavy…
I feel like wings would be a great protein to get weird with the mop - some Thai red curry, some kind of Burmese action, shawarma spices.....
That's how I i make wings for my family. They love it.. love how when you were explaining what you did Evan just are the wing cutting you off 😂😂😂 love your content
How does that trivet work?
How does he get heat to that metal plate he puts on the table
Blue cheese is the only wing dip!
