Thanks Berlin! Didn't know any good references existed, thankfully the SA-3 tone matches with what I was doing already so that's definitely good news, thanks again!
In the vanilla sim, there are only 2 sounds, one for tracking and one for locking, these 2 sounds are used for every radar equipped vehicle in the game. In the mod every radar equipped vehicle has it's own unique radar warning sound as it would be in real-life. Whether or not the sounds themselves are realistic is unknown as the majority of all RWR sounds are classified.
Awesome! Will install it with JSGME and have it for my next promo video, so Il credit you and share the information through my channel. I have always found the sounds to be dull after hearing the ones from BMS. Good luck!
Hi Alex, sadly nobody, apart from actual pilots of the A-10 or F16 know what these sounds sound like. Radar warning systems are, as has been mentioned on the ED forums, highly classified so there is no real-world data to compare the sounds too sadly. Most of the sounds in this mod are modelled on the BMS Falcon RWR sound set, which is one of the few games sporting a complete set of RWR sounds. Whether they are correct or not however nobody can say.
Jack Flash Hi Jack, sadly the F-15 doesn't have its RWR setup in code to allow for individual targets to emit individual sounds (unless something has changed in the past few months). The only reason it works for the A-10 is because ED had it setup to do so from the start, but had never completed any work on it.
Hey musicmystro, there is a flash application which lets you see all the relevant aircraft/ships/ground vehicles along with the RWR sound it emits, if you go to the DCS forums its in the first post: forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=110840
This is excellent so far

Thanks Ralfi, with any luck I might be able to release a first build of the sound pack sometime this week if I get enough time.
Excellent work so far, my friend. Can't wait to give this mod a try!
Thanks Ralfi appreciate it mate. Will make a new post in the mod section when it's ready to go.

The mod works great with the A10C but I can't get it to work in the F15C....anyone have a suggestion....??

Brill thanks mate, are these the same tones that you would hear if you were flying an f-15 though?
***** They are based on the F-16 ones from Falcon BMS. I recreated all the sounds from scratch but they are based on the BMS ones.
its more realistic sound?
Hi I don't know if you remember me but i found another good video for RWR sounds USAF F-16 Shot Down by Serbs in 1999: Aircraft's Flight Data - A/V
