Usually sports anime are all about how the main character grows w/ his team and how their teamwork improves. Blue Lock says fuck teamwork and i love that + all of the characters feel like they could be main characters.
Disagree. If anything Blue Lock doesn't have a very consistent message. All the players want to get better for their own sake but there is a lot of teamwork in this show and manga that isn't much different from other sports.
@@ZomgXBanned2 A striker still has to play with the team in the end, like once they become a player on the national team. Ofcourse there will be teamwork in Blue Lock as well. It's just all about who can make best use of their team to score the goal in the end. Isagi kinda manipulates his teammates' positioning and skills to get the ball forward, just for him to score in the end. The difference here is that they don't use teamwork for the sake of teamwork, like ''if we improve our teamwork we will become the best team''. They use teamwork for the sake of their own goals.
Anthony’s Kuon hate cracks me up every time😭 also love how he wants to hate the other team but the trio here are actually interesting so he can’t LMAOO MOOD
i'm going to tell you a bit why chigiri decided to come to blue lock - he saw this as an "opportunity" to lose his dream and career. he wanted to give up on football, but something inside him was still clinging to the hope of playing. so he came to blue lock - to give up. one of the rules is that if you lose, you won't ever be able to play for japan. with that, chigiri knew he'd give up because he wouldn't be able to play for japan and be the best striker in the world. thus, his career and dream would end. he'd have no other option than to give up. it sounds silly but that was his mentality edit: and with everyone saying "he's bringing people down with him!!!" yeah i don't think chigiri really cared about that. i mean people who came to blue lock had to be real egoists to even go through with the proposition. i don't think anyone cares what happens to other (until they bond, and chigiri never bonded with the team before episode 7)
"I know it is late right now but to clarify. From the 5 teams V,W,X,Y,Z the top 2 teams advance so the ones with the most points from the bracket and from the 3 losing teams ONLY the top scorer not the entire team. Team V so Nagis team has as far as i understood and point wise won every game so no matter what they will advance. Team Z has to win the game against the strongest the strongest team or else everyone unless the top scorer must leave blue lock. That is also why Kuon was betraying everyone bc team W with the brothers he didn't know if his team would normally win or not seeing how close the last game was which they struggled and in the first game they lost because the team was too selfish to play with each other, so he wanted to guarantee that he advances as he knew the next team they were facing was team V which he clearly says they stand no chance. Hope i could help." from user ~ Shamiyama

Exactly if you think about it Kuons plan may have been a a-hole move but actually makes alot of sense. I think people tend to think that Kuons entire personality is like that but bluelock brought that out of him. In the end Bluelock will end with one person so wuts the point of playing nice with people that wont be on the national team with you?
On the subject of Chigiri injury's ... In most patients, the ACL never fully regains its previous strength and knee mobility and stability is, to some degree, lost forever . Pretty much why his doctor told him that should a similar injury happen again , he's out of commission . As for Kuon's case , you're forgetting that Bluelock isn't really about forming a team . So of course no matter what they could not boot Kuon .This round had one , others might not and be solo challenges . Kuon was scummy and irredeemable for sure , but thinking ahead about his solo success . Even despite obvious future roadblock over his own skills . Imo it would make more sense and be more respectable , if he just stole the ball to score (like they all tried the first game) ... but he isn't skilled enough , he ain't no Barou lol
What makes it works so well , is the "shonen battle" and "battle royale" vibe . Honestly with such emphasis , Blue lock could even have been about other team sports (like basketball) . Don't get me wrong it does the football and sports parts still really well and show it much love ... but with that "it's not about sports" vibe , it's easy for a different audience (and yet also the regular sports anime fans) , to get engrossed and into it .
A really interesting note is that both nagi and kenma are probably coded autistic, as a lot of us autistic people see it clear as day lol. On another note, bachira also gives spectrum vibes for sure.
I know the brothers were bad but it still feels like people just ignore how arrogant and rude chigiri was, sure taunting the injured guy is bad, petty and totally undeserved but... it was his words they used to taunt him, so I feel like people shouldn't act like chigiri was a holy saint that the brothers were just torturing for taking their place in the team.
I mean idk...they were like "suck us off because we're your seniors" before he even said anything when he just joined, and tbh that attitude may fly in Japan but it certainly doesn't, here, in the US. I'm not saying that you're not supposed to respect your elder teammates, but if you know you're the shit it's much more socially acceptable to be cocky in the West, esp in America when it comes to sports. Jordan and others certainly were.
@@rainiwakura2430 I fully agree they are and were absolute assholes its just most people I watch ignore how chigiri acted. the brothers were rude, petty and arrogant as well, to a much higher degree but it doesn't excuse chigiri as him stating comes down to talent had nothing to do with the wanimas he would have said it to anyone.
If y'all like sports anime maybe give Yowamushi pedal, Hajime no Ippo, Kuroko's basketball and Eyeshield 21 a try. These are really good sports anime. 🤗🤩👍
good videos, but could you try to pronounce their name correctly, not the american versions of such. Like for bachira, pronounce it as Bah-chi-da, instead of bah-cheer-rah

Yo Anthony, as a Mexican, I love your t shirt my man😂
great reaction as always.

keep in mind the goalies don't play goalie regularly. they are strikers playing goalie.
I wanted to see their reaction for nagi's roasting but guess they were lost in the conversation
They talk way too much
@@adityavimal4145 they can talk but they should at least pause the anime and talk like other youtubers

I agree but thats why I like Chigiri, he isn't just a nice guy with a rough backstory. He has arrogance and is fun to watch
y’all be confused with Barou and Zantetsu, Barou is the King and Zantetsu is the guy with glasses
They think Bachira gives Hisoka vibes wait till they meet Shidou.
Raichi is in fact voiced by the same VA that voiced inosuke

Please watch oshi no ko 🥺❤
Zantetsu is great
Am i the only one who think its annoying when they talk soooo much in the reaction
Yep at least they talk about when the timing is right, not when in the hype moment
I do agree, I wish they would show more of the anime as they're talking cus they talk for minutes at a time with no anime while it's going
You literally click on this video to get their reaction... if you want to watch the anime then go watch the anime?
