Wicked! I managed to figure out that the cogs weren't gripping but couldn't figure out any way to replace them or find the parts! If in doubt... cable tie. Thanks for that, really helped.
Thanks very much for this vid, butt! With mine, the cogs were engaged but the mechanism behind the dial had popped out …the white cog wasn’t turning. I managed to persuade it back in and get it all working, but it looks a bit frail. Fingers crossed! Thanks again.
Mine has just stopped working properly yesterday. So thanks for this. Should help me get it sorted hopefully. No idea how I’ll reset the selector to point to the right options though!
Just got round to getting access to mine. It seems to have fixed itself! It stopped working when it was VERY cold in the snow. Almost as if it was slipping. Mech seems tight and properly situated…. No play. It’s all greased up still. Who knows? Maybe it’ll fail properly next time. But at least I know how to get to it now. Cheers.
Nice Video Steve. Are you planned to keeping red Fiesta for daily or you going to flips for profit? I have owned Fiesta Mk6 1.4 petrol, love that car at all.
Steve your subscribers are loyal to you no matter what you decide we will still be here you have gave us alot of pleasure watching your content mate 👍

Hi Steve 👋🏻
I wish my Mercedes was this easy to fix I’ve been quoted nearly £700 to fix the heating in it😡😡😡
