"The Triumph of Christianity" - In 1996 Rodney Stark published "The Rise of Christianity: A Sociologist Reconsiders History." It was successful far beyond his most optimistic imaginings. But over the years, as he continued to write historical studies, Stark became increasingly dissatisfied with the book. He felt it started too late (not until about the year 40), and ended far too soon (with the reign on Constantine). So, several years ago he decided to try again.
