Dude, this video was amazing. I think this is easily one of the top 3 Minecraft documentary channels, now I would put you on top but it kind of comes down to preference/ style. I clicked on this video expecting some semi-interesting info and probably a mid video. But dude i was blown away. Your incorporation of skits/short animated sequences to tell the story was definitely new for me, and I think it made the video a lot more enjoyable. I mean, there's only so much you can do with words and a dramatic cut away sequence. Also I think your grasp on the sound design was pretty good as well, helping to support the great visuals. Your personality also shined through this, a lot of other documentary youtubers try to act more as an omnipotent being than a real person, but you showed your personality through the visuals and how you spoke. Yeah all together this was a great watch, and its refreshing to see a new creator pump out something actually unique and entertaining in its own way. Great job! Side note: thought this would be funny to mention. I clicked on your other recent video (How Jschlatt Keeps Saving Minecraft), to see how the video production on that one was, and uh lets just say it was pretty good, because I got hooked for 6 minutes and then remembered i was supposed to be analyzing the video production lmao.

Lunar's hosting is pretty good when you're playing with a friend on Discord.. The edge that Essential has though is voice chat works, which is very fun to use. Probably something to do with how they host your world but yeah
I think a few things went unsaid about Lunar Client when Lunar was blasting Feather for the whole license issue. During that period, there were massive issues with Lunar Client, especially regarding the client itself. During this period the code itself had massive issues with giving people unfair advantages, despite being on the opposing staff team at the time (Feather), I assisted alongside another developer to fix their issues. Their client granted omni-movement, reach, hitbox expansion and debounce issues. The issue was so bad that the client got blacklisted from CubeCraft as the client was banning people at an exponential rate, which I do believe was lifted after some time.

Is there a reason mod loader clients weren't mentioned? Ive always thought of them as being a main competitor of the traditional clients. Also feather being the first client with a mod loader doesn't really line up with CurseForge existing for so long. And the recently released modrinth loader is very promising and very user friendly.
If you're curious Clients kind of suck for a few reasons - Performance loss - Bloated UI - Extra unnecessary features than what the player actually wants - 100s of mod incompatibilities due to hard-coded rendering engines and other features - No mod configurations My recommendation Install a modpack such as FO or Additive and add all the mods you want on top. There are countless Fabric recreations for every PvP module in clients.
I don't even use a client or client-like thing, there are open-source alternatives for hosting worlds and the lunar-exclusive fps enhancements arent worth the bloat the client has imo
Have you missed that they added full mod support to lunar? You can go into the folders and actualy use whatever mods you wanna use for the version you wanna play! Theres no longer choosing between lunar and using mods! :)))
Crazy thing is that I have Lunar Client installed, but I normally use Essentials because there are some quality of life mods that I use that make making videos and just playing the game better
